Nicola Strugeon has made it clear the SNP aren`t interested in voting on issues which don`t concern Scotland, and she`ll be held accountable for that. I think it is a bit desperate when Clegg/Milliband/Cameron keep referring to the SNP in terms of Salmond, when they know he isn`t the leader any more - and they know Sturgeon is a far more acceptable character to the majority. And as for Farage and his comments about throwing money over Hadrians wall into Scotland, his grasp of geography is about as poor as his grasp of economics.

Agree with that statement in general, but not in this instance.

The woman just spent £20k, then received dissatisfying service. She obviously wasn't going to go to McDonalds for her free meal. I think 700 quid is a better loss for the garage than losing the sale.

I don't think she's in the wrong. They didn't specify a limit or where to go for the meal.

Who wouldn't? It was the business who failed to specify the amount she could spend.

I wouldn't have a meal that cost that much . Maybe because it was a flash place in London it was so expensive . I promise you though that I would struggle to spend £700.00 on a nice meal at any place I know and like .

And I would not look for somewhere expensive just for the hell of it , I would go somewhere I like .

OK, £700 is a bit excessive but I don't blame her for going somewhere fancy.

I don't blame her for going somewhere fancy but I could never spend £700 on dinner. Even with Audi picking up the bill. Think how many people you could feed for £700.

And for 20k you could buy my car ten times. Different people spend different amounts on things, for the garage not to be specific that's their fault. If they're going to make a grand gesture of offering to pay for dinner so they don't lose a sale, they need to follow through Imo.
