I think you need to re-watch his efforts. Sure, he's hit a couple of volleys (hardly rockets btw) but most shots go nearer the corner flag. He doesn't actually shoot that often during in games despite have a clear opportunity, I think he knows he is **** at shooting. Sterling's shooting is atrocious. Coutinho has got better since he stopped trying to break the net with the keeper on every shot!
He's hit a few good un. but yeah he's played rarely close to goal and in the early part of season he gave up guilt edged chances in favor of a pass that was not on.
sigh..... I really don't need to watch that... did he even watch football in the ronaldo era... was he alive then?
just watched the video...and he admits that he said that about Zaha as well, fair play. He seems quite happy about it, good for him. I did like his comment that he hasn't been this excited since last summer though - it's obviously not been an exciting for him then.
is depay going to real madrid in a years time then? new ronaldo my arse. Di maria is directly in conflict with this signing so this will be interesting IMO.

Depay will be more like Hazard than anything. If they can use him correct he will be brilliant. LVG hasn't really made any youth better in his first year. Shaw, McNair, Jones and Januzai haven't really shown any growth in how they play. McNair is too soon though. I think Herrera is still young and seems very good. All the rest he signed were middle age in terms of footballers.

Him and Markovic play the same position also and with Depay he wouldn't be as willing to do the postion changes Markovic has. Also if we got him then Markovic/Sterling have to be moved around or dropped, too many players for one postion. Next season we need to focus on right back/midfielder/striker, get those three and we see massive improvements from this year.
Liverpool should buy Nani, Cleverely and Hernandez. They will come cheap.(relatively cheaper). Livrpool can laugh at Manchester United next season, when these lads will perform and get Liverpool to UCL. Liverpool should also buy Alex Buttner. He was one the best left backs last year.
From memory,didn't Ronaldo only score 3 or 4 in his first season? Let's see how Depay handles things in a half decent league first of all. And can we show some patience with Marko ffs.............thanks
