I agree with you about the Tories and Labour, but UKIP aren't interested in shaking things up.
They want things to go backwards, if anything.

They ran for seats in the European Parliament, then failed to actually attend when elected.
UKIP claim that they have sympathy for British fishermen, yet Farage himself was utterly inactive when he could've influenced policies on fishing.
He attended one of 42 meetings in three years of the Fisheries Committee and missed all three big votes on reform.
Not a big fan of Greenpeace, but the facts at the end are damning: http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/media/...-‘makes-mockery’-new-election-poster-20150408

He lies about the transparency of his expenses, he votes against them becoming public and he won't do an interview with the BBC about it.
He is what he's claiming to be against.

I'm still not convinced who to vote for, but it's looking more and more likely that I'll be voting out of fear for the 1st time ever. It's my honest opinion that the country will be screwed (particularly anywhere outside of the SE of England) if the Tories and UKIP get in as a coalition. As such I feel I'll have to vote Labour, even though I disagree with some of their policies, as they are so much better than the austerity loving, venerable/poor attacking toffs that make up the Tories, or the racist, investment banker, centralist that is the UKIP leader. I'd really worry about a lot of the things that have made this country great if those two get in together - equality, openness, the welfare state, the NHS, the ability to work hard to further yourself, a look after each other ethos.

While anymore austerity will further stall the economy, at a time when it needs a shot in the arm to encourage trade and investment...

    It's depressing, isn't it?
Democracy's supposed to be about voting for the best candidate, not the least worst.
We all should be thinking, "Who do I want to run the country?", not, "How do I stop those arseholes getting in again?"

The system's utterly broken. Churchill was right, unfortunately.
"Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

Joking apart it was funny that during the eulogising about Churchill at centenary of his death earlier this year how many people reminded us about Churchill and his total hatred of the working class. He may have made a few speeches during WW2 but in reality Churchill was a horrible evil ****

Hey, it's not my fault I don't like leaders who shoot they're own people, especially the most venerable people.

But, equally you could level that at any communist leader (even Castro). I think Churchill was a great war time leader, and exactly what we needed, but an awful peace time leader. In the same way that Margret Thatcher made a great man, but an awful/immoral prime minister...

Churchill may have been a ****er, but he was a very quotable ****er.
Both may be something to do with him being permanently pissed.

So we've moved from bashing UKIP to bashing Churchill now?

Smirnoff has it right when he says Great War time leader, not so much during peace.

And PNP is right, he's an incredibly quotable man, some absolute gems.

This election is a chance for people to show just how fed up they are with politics in this country. Vote UKIP, lib dem, greens, cista, snp, monster raving loony party, anyone but Labour or Tory. Don't feed into the two party system and encourage more of the same. They've had long enough of taking it in turns to **** the country and **** the future of our youth.

Yup - help everyone and u get stronger. Demonise the weak, poor and vulnerable and the country gets weaker and more sepearated.like what happened in the 80s and what's been happening since the Tories have been in, with hate mongering parties parties and scare mongering about disabled people, foreigners, civil servants, and people on benefits

I'm not going to defend the Tories as I wouldn't want to influence someone to vote for them <laugh>

But the situation we are in is in large part down to the mistakes the last Labour government made. So I wouldn't go as far as to say left wing = stronger, right wing = weaker.

If your going left wing, vote CISTA if they have a candidate in your constituency, or lib dems, greens, plaid or snp depending on location. There are other options than Labour or Tory regardless of political leaning and I hope all of the parties outside red/blue do well at this election regardless of my views of there policies.
