Liverpool, Southampton, Hull City and Celtic keeping tabs on Molde keeper Orjan Nyland please log in to view this image Liverpool, Southampton, Hull, and Celtic have all checked on Molde goalkeeper Orjan Nyland. The 24-year-old Norway international has a £2.3million clause in his contract and was the subject of a failed bid from Everton in January. Nyland is playing in his third season with Molde and has made 11 appearances for the Norwegian national side. Liverpool are still exploring the possibility of signing free agent Norberto Neto from Fiorentina who was set to join Juventus but are weighing up alternatives. Liverpool are on the lookout for cover for No 1 Simon Mignolet with the club set to allow Brad Jones to leave the club in the summer. Jones had expected the club to offer him a new deal as is understood to be furious because he feels they have gone back on their word by not offering fresh terms. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Molde-keeper-Orjan-Nyland.html#ixzz3ZR7F0OaM
Thank God, an actual transfer story in a position that we're in desperate need of. More of this please and less bollocks about dodgy lying untrustworthy self serving politicians.
If, and I repeat IF we stay up and Sunderland go down would Costel Pantilimon be on the market. He joined Sunlun on a 'Free' but I don't know what his contract would be. Another relegation battle next season or life in the Championship is not a big attraction for prospective signings but we need a another Goalkeeper.
Well done. As I said, we are not an attractive club for potential signings and I would guess that IF he became available there would be better offers on the table for him.
Nobody is good enough to be our keeper if you read comments on here most days, think you need to be a combination of Shilton, Pat Jennings and Tony Norman to play for us without getting a load of abuse. Harper would have been the same but he's been very lucky with where his parried shots have gone, unlike Mcgregor
I'm not sure about that, I think pretty much everybody would be happy with the likes of Marshall or Pantillimon.
Would anyone fancy taking another look at Myhill if we stayed up? His price will have gone up after his heroics on Saturday.
Nyland is very highly rated. I think we'd struggle to get him if other clubs were interested. Andre Hansen at Odd Grenland is also stirring up a lot of interest, seems Norway are getting some decent keepers. Still think we should splash the money on a Bundesliga keeper like Timo Horn, but again I think we'd struggle to attract somebsomebody like that.
I'd tak I would take him as a number 2 but I would rather we get a future starter as a number two like the back up U.S. keeper or another keeper like that.
