    Since when was Nes not old school gaming?

    Someone here said that the ZX81 was real old school gaming....it only came out 2 years before the famicom...

    I had given up play games before the nintendo was out and spent my spare time trying to get a shag instead. There for this was for the kids.

    In 1976 a guy I knew paid £70 for a Pong game. It had no on-screen scoring, the box had dimples on top and came with two Ball bearings that you moved along the dimples to keep score.

    That's Old Skool.

    I got a ZX Spectrum48k bought for me in London, cos Scotland was sold out.
    It was 1981 and it cost £120.
    Jetpac, ATICATAC, Daley Thomsons Decathalon.

    'bout as old school as I get recently is N64 - been playing Ocarina of Time loads past week or so. Beats all this COD **** that everyones going on about nowadays.

    best old school arcade games were asteroids,defender ( although too many buttons ) tempest and missile command.

    i would probably be quite well off if it wasnt for them.

    best pinball was gorgar by the way.
