We dominated the last game. A superhero keeper performance is the reason we lost. I dont see how that shows we've given up at all.

You should watch liverpool. You wouldn't be spouting so much rubbish if you had treble.

**** sake your depressing. Weve lost 3 games and still have a 4 point cushion over them. What does that tell you? They are rubbish.

They go to chelsea, a side they never beat and for some reason, every suicide watch United fan has proclaimed they have already beat chelsea and we are out of the top 4 yada yada yada.

Be positive. Its miles better. <ok>

RVP should have scored that pen. He scores and we would have won. But these things happen. We just need to win at Palace. A draw there and a win for the RS against the chavs will put pressure on us to win against Arsenal. And with the fast counterattacking game from last night's evidence, they'll easily pick our defence off.

Palace have lost their last 3, have been beaten in 4 of their last 7 home games and are virutally on a beach already.

If you can't go there and get a better result than the RS get at Chelsea then you don't deserve top 4.

We had a short period where we played some good stuff but in general you are right and we haven't played well.

It's been a similar story for you lot but at the end of the day you've got more points and I think you'll hang onto that 4th spot.

Theyve also scored no goals from counters (our big problem) and lost 9 home games.

    And Chelsea despise Liverpool.

    This <ok>

Superhero performances from De Gay kept you in top half of the table.
Or else - you will be sitting comfortably near Everton around 45 pts.

One good thing, we get more of LVG!!

Have you ever considered what exactly he was hoping to achieve in our last 3 games? I've not said he'd given up but he certainly rested on his laurels. He didnt do one thing or the other. Didnt put out a team or performance to win, but didnt put out a team or performance to get a draw either.

That's the real irony. In our last 3 games he's had 70%-80% possession but not achieved ANY objective. I mean, if we had drawn our last 3 I could understand wtf the million sideway passes were all about bcos we'd be 3 points better off and 7 points ahead of 5th and I'd be saying "fair enough, I dont like it but I can understand the manager is looking at the bigger picture." But we dont even see that.

I'm not a doom merchant at all, I just call it as I see it. Why should LVG get plaudits for "when it suddenly clicked" in the previous 3 games but not be scrutinised for our abject performance and results in the last 3 games?

Only the everton game was a concern. We were very good v Chelsea and absolutely dominated wba. So much so that they barely had a kick. We were undone by a fluke goal. Another day (or most days) and we won 5-0.

Our concerns are well known. Carrick is irreplaceable and we lack a 20 goal striker (this season). Funny how van Gaal was slammed for such a claim when it turns out to be accurate though.

Its a shame we lost the last 3 and I was pulling my hair out the last game but even in defeat, we have a purpose and a clear objective.

All last season I said that of Moyes showed signs of improvement, a plan or something that indicated this was just a temporary blip, I would have supported him. Ive made no extreme u-turn simply because I rate lvg highly (I rated Moyes too). I just didn't see it last season but I do now.

Van gaal needs to find that perfect mix now. Im pretty sure we can beat any of the top 6 sides comfortably. I suspect those lowly sides who just attack no matter what will get battered. The few anti football sides are the concern though.

The very worst game we had this season, the one game that worried me was Burnley at home. We actually got outplayed completely. That was the stand out poor performance for me.

This is what any decent United mnager has to overcome. WBA was not the first and will not be the last team to come and defend in depth and be happy with a point. If they get 3 points, that wil be a bonus for them. Ferguson by the time he won the premiership had worked it out. He had form the formula for beating these teams who go to OT to get a draw. LVG will have to work it out to get that title. It is the ruthless efficiency aginast the lower teams that wijn you titles as well as not losing to your rivals.

You've spent £170m, played part-time and had poor Cup runs. They played in Europe and reached two semis. If they are rubbish, what does that make you?

Whats this **** I hear about De Gea's agent?
He represents Falcao and apparantly he has told United De Gea will only stay if they keep Falcao!

If true, and I was De Gea, I would be pissed at my agent.

Also, how much has Falcao's stock sunk to even suggest it???

I thought clubs were queuing up around Europe to pay him a million a month to do nothing.

We may well keep Falcao. If only for financial reasons.

The audience for United matches will be massive as most will tune in to see whether Falcao will score a goal :bandit:

You need to stop hanging out with the checkout girl at the club megastore. The old trafford tea lady is far more reliable!

Apparently UEFA will force Monaco to let us sign Falcao on a free as punishment for failing FFP

That's what I made up based on something I vaguely remember hearing / reading last night whilst pissed.

I heard that Mourhino's mum has said Chelsea will sign nobody and instead develop the youth players into the first team next season.
