The 20-year-old Brazilian signed for Leeds last summer on a season-long loan from Flamengo, with a view to a permanent move at the end, something that looks increasingly unlikely due to Adryan’s lack of playtime during the season. Leeds owner Massimo Cellino confirmed discussions with the FA will take place tomorrow, but has denied that Leeds are guilty of breaking the rules. The news comes just days after Cellino’s ban imposed by the Football League expired. The FA declined to comment on the story, but Cellino told the Yorkshire Evening Post that “I’m seeing lawyers from the FA tomorrow. They tell me there is a problem so I asked them to come here and see me.” Adryan featured 13 times for the Whites this season, despite the initial large interest surrounding his transfer, the last being the 3-2 defeat to Watford in February. Cellino said that he faced more problems than he left when he returned to the club this week, and this is another issue to add to the increasingly long list.

If weve broken rules, we deserve whatever we get. Theres enough legal people working for the club and presumably staff whose job is to knoe the legalities of transfers. Surely these can be run past the fa or whoever before completion to eliminate problems down the line. Seems like a shoddy setup all round to me
I have just been reading what happens if found guilty because you know we will.. Points deduction to start next season, hefty fine or transfer embargo. Eire - The legal team were probably tied up 24/7 looking for loopholes and working on Cellino and his antics. Our Legal bills under the last three owners must be massive.
They probably were Ristac but doesnt excuse what is supposedly a big club making elementary blunders like this. Points deduction next season would virtually guarantee relegation so wed be better taking the punishment now. As for the criticism of Harvey and the fl, I agree but why do we keep feeding them ammunition?
All the money that bates spent on lawyers, court cases came from the club coffers, and it seems Cellino is in more need of lawyers than the bent one, yet we seem to have a board full of lawyers all scraping a living from the club, shouldn't they get done under the trade descriptions act
I know it doesn't excuse them, I was attempting to be sarcastic We don't get a say which season the points are deducted from, this season would not affect us so they would conclude it isn't a punishment?

There should be a standard clause in every signing's contract, indicating by signing that the seller/loaner has guaranteed that there is no 3rd party agreement. Everyone assumes that we are guilty - but what if we've been lied to & we acted in good faith? Does that still make us guilty?
