[QUOTE="originallambrettaman, post: 7899584, member: 1000044"68 likes, deffo a record. [/QUOTE] Nice to know I'm not completely losing my marbles over this debacle. Imagine how many "likes" Mr Allam could have had if he had not started this whole name change PR disaster. Should start a new series on Channel 5, "When good owners go bad". Given the state of modern day football we could have a few episodes, Us, Leeds, Coventry, Blackpool, Cardiff, etc
I dont care if allam sells up as well long has city are in a healthy financial state under the new ownership. And not a financial basket case like under bartlett.
Do you not think his lies have hurt the club in any way? Do you not think his threats have hurt the club in any way? Do you not think his obsessive & petulant hatred of Hull City Council is hurting the club in any way? Do you not think the negative press he brings upon us hurts the club in any way? Do you not think his negative treatment of supporters hurts the club in any way? Do you not think that him turning the support on each other has hurt the club in any way? Do you not think the atmosphere his actions have created at games is hurting the club in any way? Do you not think spending the ASI money in the manner he has hurts the club in any way? Do you not think the stand moves have hurt the club in any way? Do you not think the unnecessary ticket price increases have hurt the club in any way? Do you not think his treatment of users of the Airco Arena has hurt the club in any way? Do you not think the unprofessional letters they sent to HCC suggesting they break the law to accommodate their requests hurts the club in any way? Do you not think his removal of disabled supporter's concessions hurts the club in any way? Do you not think that the removal of the club's name (Hull City AFC, if you'd forgotten) from all club correspondence hurts the club in any way? Do you not think that him going back on his word, time & time again, hurts the club in any way? Do you not think other club's supporters protests regarding our excessive tickets prices getting reported nationally hurts the club in any way? At what point do you recognise that his actions & words are already hurting the club, when we're relegated from the Premier League perhaps?
The puppy kicking is out of order but on balance, his treatment of spiders gets my undying support and gratitude.
If he'd made that public earlier he'd have far more support & come across as a more likable old chap.
A brilliant post SGJ. I think your post brilliantly tidies up what 95% of us have been saying ever since Allam uttered the words "Hull tiger" .
Oooo I love Ben's quizzes... Do you not think his lies have hurt the club in any way? What lies? Do you not think his threats have hurt the club in any way? What threats? He hasn't made any threats to me? Do you not think his obsessive & petulant hatred of Hull City Council is hurting the club in any way? Hurting how? Do you have any confidence in any Hull City Council to have the foresight to move the City forward in any shape or form? Do you not think the negative press he brings upon us hurts the club in any way? No. Do you not think his negative treatment of supporters hurts the club in any way? No. He hasn't treated me negatively. Do you not think that him turning the support on each other has hurt the club in any way? I blame CTWD just as much for fuelling the fire. Do you not think the atmosphere his actions have created at games is hurting the club in any way? Same answer as above Do you not think spending the ASI money in the manner he has hurts the club in any way? No. Had he not used the ASI money to improve the stadium facilities for the away fans, the money would have had to have come out of club funds anyway. Do you not think the stand moves have hurt the club in any way? No. I thought the away fans behind the goal was an advantage to the other team. Do you not think the unnecessary ticket price increases have hurt the club in any way? No. We will sell a similar amount of season tickets next season as this season. Do you not think his treatment of users of the Airco Arena has hurt the club in any way? No. If it gets the Development team upgraded he has helped the club. Do you not think the unprofessional letters they sent to HCC suggesting they break the law to accommodate their requests hurts the club in any way? Is that a serious question? Do you not think his removal of disabled supporter's concessions hurts the club in any way? No. Do you not think that the removal of the club's name (Hull City AFC, if you'd forgotten) from all club correspondence hurts the club in any way? Not at all. Do you not think that him going back on his word, time & time again, hurts the club in any way? The club is up for sale isn't it? Do you not think other club's supporters protests regarding our excessive tickets prices getting reported nationally hurts the club in any way? They are not complaining about Hull City prices. They are complaining about the A rating system that affects them at all away grounds. At what point do you recognise that his actions & words are already hurting the club, when we're relegated from the Premier League perhaps? When he withdraws his funds or sells to a consortium whose only interest is to drain the club of premier league money. What do i win?
What's wrong with being scared of a terrible beast that crawls into your ear when you're asleep, lays eggs in your ear canal, then the eggs hatch, and the baby spiders eat your brain!!??! I got into BIG trouble for enlightening my daughters with that vital, life saving info when they were around 12 years old, stupid wife. Oh they also rub their willies on your face afterwards too.
Genuinely great response there Smartass. The 95% who allegedly agree with the OP is (a made up) 95% of a tiny minority of actual posters on this forum, who further represent an even smaller minority. Vocal, but minority. People are starting to tire of the venom and bile being dished out. AA is not responsible for the fans v fans. What this has done is shown up a certain clique to be self serving, vocal and with their own agenda. This was a dream come true for them so they could assert their superfandom on the rest of us. Anyone who sneers that supporters of AA are just here for the PL are full of ****, wrong and pushing more and more people away from HCST and its secret anti Allam agenda, which frankly, I'm surprised they're still peddling given the makeup of the committee.
