Thanks I hope they play their full team, we have about 100 Brits going to the game that live in Edmonton. We have started a unofficial supporters club and some of the songs that get made up and sung can be interesting, don't think they will be expecting a load of expats shouting abuse at them! Just hope it puts them off.
I watch most MLS games. Vancouver is very fast... very athletic. Up top Rivero and Mattocks are very creative. One of their center backs, Kah, is giant and very underrated, Portland really misses him. They have an outside back, Beitashour (spelling?) who used to play for San Jose and he really likes to get forward. And their main guy in the midfield is Morales, he is smooth and smart with his passing. Vancouver looks to be the class of MLS so far this year to my eyes, and really only Seattle impresses me more when attacking creatively. Have fun at that game! Let us know how it goes!
1-1 Earthquakes/Real Salt Lake... Quakes score an offside goal, RSL benefits from an own goal, and somehow Kyle Beckerman draws a foul by kicking an opponent... interesting game. Thoughts Elle? I know you watched!
Fox Soccer just said NYCFC is going to try to sign Drogba as their 3rd DP along with Lampard and Villa as their other 2.
I haven't put this weeks schedule up as its only Tuesday but SJ has a game tonight if anyone has time to watch it.
I will be watching the Warriors game tonight, this is the first time in my life they have actually been "good" as in championship quality. I've been going to games forever and they are finally a contender, so I can actually classify this as a "once in a lifetime" experience! I will DVR the Quakes game though and watch it after the Warriors. And Hull City will beat Burnley on Saturday.
I stopped watching the NBA after Rodmen left. I watch college basketball but only my schools team and really only if we make the final 4 tournament.

The game last night FC Edmonton V Vancouver Whitecaps was postponed due to snow, feel sorry for the Few Whitecaps fans that made the trip from Vancouver! Had a few drinks with them and good set of lads, hope their club does something for them
