I want the producer of Question Times face on that dartboard. My brothers girlfriend is deaf, she is an amazing girl, she has trouble talking but you can understand her. Question time would not let her participate in the audience because they said it would be too embarrassing for her. My brother can sign for her and she can lip read perfectly. Question Time are the embarrassment. Story should make the national news later this week.
So it should. Pretty sure the disability discrimination act would have something to say about that. Disgraceful behaviour.
The BBC might as well just officially endorse the Tory Party...The coverage has been so biased towards them it is unbelievable..
I know the papers show bias but I've never seen anything quite as biased as this from the mail... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...guide-50-key-seats-help-Labour-Number-10.html How YOU can vote tactically to keep out Red Ed: Constituency by constituency guide to the 50 key seats that will help keep Labour out of Number 10 Guide to the 50 key constituency seats revealed with tactical switches unveiled for those wanting to stop Labour Most key seats listed are situated in the north of England and the Midlands as voters prepare to take to the polls 29 seats where Tories have improved chance if getting Ukip sympathisers and 12 where Tories can help Lib Dems
I'm by no means a Milliband or Labour campaigner but even I find that crooked. The media and politics need a real shake up. Preferably by a third party with no vested interest in the outcome. A royal commission whatever they do. That's horrendous brainwashing.
I'm not certain, but I think that in the USA the media have to take a neutral stance as a matter of policy once an election has been called..This for me would be the way forward..
If that's workable that has to be the way forward. Nothing should influence voters other than the politicians and their politics.
why the Tories need to go https://tompride.wordpress.com/2015...minal-cancer-patients-told-to-work-or-starve/
Cameron is a t**t most good folk know that, however the Jocks by voting for nationalists are going to let him back into power. So let me see if I get this right, they voted in a majority against nationalists/independence a short while ago, despite not because of the tories who they hate. But they are now preprepared to let Cameron back into office cos now they want to vote a majority of nationalists into power!!!!
Just google it mate. You'll find more references to left-wing bias than right-wing. Tbh I remember when the likes of Panorama and World In Action (ITV) in the eighties became almost embarrassingly so left-wing and transparent in its agenda, they became virtually unwatchable. But I can't say I've really noticed it either way for a while now. It could be worse though. Just look at the likes of Fox news in the US.
Maybe @Nordic can shed more light on this than I can, I read an article that said Swedish people enjoy the best lifestyle and public benefits, yet they pay some of the highest taxes in Europe. In that, we can assume, the more you pay into the system, the better chance you have of it being successful. Some want everything for free in this country, others are prepared to reap the benefits of what they earn, what they work for. To me, it's simply inevitable that people will have to accept cuts and price increases if they want a service that we can be proud of. Cameron or Miliband don't have the answers for the fix, they're just faces we all want to slap and stamp on.
The Sun has been more virulently opposed to the Labour party and its leader Ed Miliband than it was in the runup to the 1992 election when Neil Kinnock was famously portrayed in a lightbulb on polling day, a study shows. Research by the Media Standards Trust found that 95% of the leader columns in Rupert Murdoch’s tabloid were anti-Labour ahead of Thursday’s general election, compared with 79% that were judged anti-Labour in 1992. Sun leader partisanship, 1992 v 2015 please log in to view this image The Sun’s claim after the 1992 election in which John Major beat Neil Kinnock The research came as David Axelrod, the American political consultant and Obama adviser who has been working for Labour during this campaign, said that the Tory press in the UK is more powerful and “much more aggressive” than Fox News in the US. The Media Standards Trust found 77% of the News UK paper’s leaders were anti-Miliband, against 44% that were deemed anti-Kinnock in 1992, when the paper was edited by Kelvin MacKenzie and told its readers: “If Kinnock wins today will the last person to leave Britain please turn out the lights.” The paper later claimed “It’s the Sun wot won it” after John Major’s Conservatives beat Kinnock. In its analysis of leader columns from 26 March to 3 May this year, the Media Standards Trust, a research body and thinktank, said 37 out of 39 Sun leaders were anti-Labour, with 30 of them anti-Miliband. This compares with 1992, when it said 31 out of 39 leaders were anti-Labour, with 17 of them anti-Kinnock.
