Apparently I poorly invested millions of pounds of local council money in bad debt and failing banks and then when we had replace the money we sacked ourselves instead of the mass of upper management, because doing so would've been immoral on our part. Oh wait.
Labour wasn't in power during 2007/08? If you're going to be daft about things, I'm just no gonna entertain you, mindoid.
If you lost your job exactly when the crisis hit then I have to say it'd had **** all to do with the crisis, but you've your cv to complete so don't let me put you off
I never lost my job when the crisis hit. I lost my job as a result ****s who ****ed up investments and then refused to bite the bullet. What happened nationwide? The ****s who invested the money are kept in employment, most of which on large 6 figure salaries, while the people who actually clean up your ****ing streets, take out your ****ing rubbish, cut the grass in your ****ing green spaces, lose their jobs. I shouldn't really need to point this out either but you don't seem to be actually computing what I say (not surprising) so I'll say it again. I was laid off, not fired. You'll be aware that large employers also stagger redundancies out over a period of time. Redundancies started around early 09 and continued up until late 2012. I worked up until the end of Spring in 2011. Whatever it is you're trying to say you're ****ing failing terribly, mindy. In future if you don't know what your talking about its best you just keep quiet and sit in the corner like the good little dunce you are.
I just re read your first post MD and realised that you were one of the 10%ers You guys are supposed to be unsackable
Then maybe you should retreat to google and do some research. I'm sure it won't be hard to find multiple examples of local authorities cutting front line services while retaining most higher management positions. **** even the middle management got a hard time. The upper management was ****ing untouchable though. I don't even disagree with you. We were unsackable for the most part. That's not to say everyone that works for your local authority is a ****ing lazy, useless, workshy **** though. If that was true then nothing would get done. And again, I agree there's plenty of useless ****s who work in council positions. The problem is that they didn't just get rid of the useless ****s and when they did, they only got rid of the menial useless ****s. Not the useless ****s who helped bring around the situation to begin with.
ST posted this last year but it seems to have disappeared from my PC https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxB5DiICYAAJmON.jpg ST do you still 'ave it?
She duz, aye. In Coatbridge. She has to talk to durty toothless manky drunks and listen to them abusing her because their free money didn't turn up in time. She has to soothe stupid teenage girls who have a wean on their knee telling her she's a selfish ****. She has to negotiate thieving landlords and scumbag tenants, all of whom are angry about their free money. She has to listen to known lying ****s who are claiming tenancy on each others houses thus getting benefits they shouldn't get. She has to see me at weekends.
