Great evening at awards night, I spoke at length with Graham Taylor, what a nice man, true gentleman. Gary Porter entered hall of fame, he remarked what a special club watford was. All players buzzing for next season. Deeney wonderful speech, this guy is a Watford legend.
i have been lucky to chat with troy on a couple of times and he is everything we want in a Watford player (with out the silly kissing the badge ) he always said if watford wanted or needed to sell him for the right price for the club he would go to the EPL but he always wanted to take us there well now he has . he loves the club the fans and if one day he needs to move on so be it
We planned to go, but Mini Bloother has been unwell this past couple of days. Have to say, the photos I've seen on Twitter look great, however the reaction is somewhat less than great. Apparently they had an Elton John impersonator and the announcer had us down as the 1984 FA Cup winners and this years Championship winners. If only...
If you didn't do the early bird deal here are the new season ticket prices. £505 in the Rookery £565 in the SEJ Over £600 in the UGT Just shows what Premier league football can do to prices.
No mention of 75 mile tickets or direct debit for these new applicants. Wonder if they've pulled the plug on these two options...
To stop fans of any old club getting tickets maybe? Surprised they don't do direct debit - maybe talk to club about that... Pitch invader arrested. http://www.stalbansreview.co.uk/new...ref=rss&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
The buying history on the database should stop fans of any old club though? Think I'll call the club tomorrow about both questions. In the event I'm unable to get/decide against a season ticket, does anyone know how you're supposed to know when the individual games come on sale, because I guess you'll have to be on the ball and online as soon as they go on sale?
A1 - I would imagine it's as you state. Wait until the tickets are released on-line and I would also imagine that there will be priorities applied - so people with buying history first. It will be the same with away tickets again. I would expect that we will see a lot of new ST's though - even with the hike, it's still quite cheap for the PL.
Thanks WY. What my question really meant was, how do you know what the particular day is tickets will be released for each match. With around 3,500 on sale for each game, I guess you'll have to be online pretty much as they're released, but how do you know when that is?
on the ticket website it will give a date when the tickets will be released for general sale so you will know in advance.
Thanks Chris. I suppose in recent seasons you haven't really had to be on the ball with timings but now you will...
i was thinking of getting two 75 mile season ticket even if i cant use them all (one for the wife) it just means my son would have to go in drag as im not lol
Not sure they are offering the 75 miles ST's Brian - it looks like standard ST's with a one off payment only. So no options and no DD. I think the pricing in The Vic Road for families is excellent and I hope it sells out now.
I renewed my 75 miler season ticket before the early bird deadline. I wondered if they would carry on with it if we got promotion as every game should probably be a sellout, and with the 75 miler in the championship you only paid for 15 games instead of the 23 for a full season. With a similar proportion in the premier there would be times when your seat is unsold and therefore the club loses revenue.
I think it has been 13 from 19 games in the Prem. Don't you pick your games up front so your seat can be re-sold anyway and the revenue goes to the club (different to the no-show charity re-sell policy)?
