Very true, and splitting them up and driving some out hardly helps.

But why are you not singing with them? The whole stadium should be.

Not saying he did, just pointing out that the fact he was posting at that time doesn't necessarily mean he was at home.

To be truthful I sit in west lower with my family & I always applaud on 19.04 but I don't stand & sing because I really don't want to be getting into arguments with people who may say something to me! At the end of the day I go with my wife & kids to watch a game! I get more involved at away games but at home I Applaud! And the stadium should be all singing but believe it or not some people like the old twat!

So you don't sing but think that te rest of the stadium should?

You go to watch a game rather than support the team?

Yes, some people would rather watch a game of football than sing songs.

Its been that way since professional football came into existence, this elitism is just tedious.

Would you rather the stadium had 5,000 singing fans and 20,000 empty seats?

I sing songs when I want to sing! I've been watching city since the 70s I've had the same seats since 2005! But like I said I go with my family to watch the game ( and yes if you want to be pedantic ) support my team! Does that stop me getting a knock on the door late at night and getting dragged away?

There is a different between watching and supporting the team. I have heard many calls from managers and players for the crowd to get behind the team vocally. But never one asking for them to sit quietly watching the team.
You pay your money and it is your choice. But it is a bit rich to say you don't sing and just watch the team and in the same breath say the rest of the stadium should be singing.

Can you show me where I said I wanted the rest of the stadium to sing?

I would like to see 5,000 singing out of the 20,000+ in the ground instead of a handful as we have now.

Personally when I go to see City I want to see them win. Don't care how. And Ibelieve people getting behind the team instead of sitting as though they were in a theatre can help them do that. If itbdoesn'tbat least the atmosphere of a vibrant ground is preferable to the morgue like one we so often have. If I just want to watch a game of football I can watch any number of teams on TV, silently contemplating the better players on view than I can see playing for City.but that isn't why I go to City.
It is the difference between spectators, of which we have far too many, and supporters, of which we have too few.

You are only talking about 19.04 then? You sing the rest of the time but don't want to get in an argument because of the support of our history with the PL whores? Sorry if I misunderstood you.

If I wanted to stand in the north and sing and chant I would! Like as been said you could have this conversation with 20,000 others! Your response to people's way of watching a match is what's playing into Allams hands! I won't be told by anyone how to support! If you go to any club you have a singing section where people want to have a good go at it and other sections that are not so vocal but still support! I'll be at Spurs pissed and loud! But when I'm with my kids I'm a bit more human that's all!

Singing sections. Something else you never heard before the PL sterilisation of the game.

Trouble is we have a few singers and sections which are not at all vocal, except when moaning, and don't support at all.

I have a lot of sympathy with The Greengrocer here. I also sit in the West and I'm totally different to how I am at away games. Standing and singing isn't frowned upon as such but it's not the norm. I rarely sing at home even on 19:04. Last night I got in an argument with a bloke who's sat behind me for years without a problem. Hardly ever spoke to him but he started saying something about the Allam Out singers being 'out of order' and I couldn't ignore that. It's so depressing that this is what it's come to. Meanwhile Allam and his fans continue to blame the City fans.

We did have singing sections! If you wanted to you went in kempton! It's the seating thing that's f'cked it all up not the standard of fans! I was more of a south stander back then!

I was in E7 and a bloke a couple of rows behind me started booing very loudly at the CTID chant. The sheer hatred on his face astounded me. He kept shouting "support the team support the team". I turned round and shouted to him that we were and they were called Hull City. He did not hear me as he was too busy with his own protest. Quite a few people in E7 join in with the chant and a lot of us turned round to look. In my opinion I do not agree with the name change to Hull Tigers but respect anyone else's opinion and I would not boo if they wish to sing a song about it. As I mentioned before the hatred in his face when talking about fellow supporters shocked me and I fear that one day he will be sitting next to someone who really will get angry and we will have a situation where supporters are fighting each other. He kept having digs all the way through the game and if he is on here now I will say to him I found your attitude totally unacceptable.
