Well he could be talking about the summer?

However when he was substituted I must admit that I thought that was his last game for us

He's gone, and he's saying cheerio.. Shame.

A pre season with these boys and who knows, get his fitness to its absolute best and unleash him on the championship. He was unplayable against Walsall yesterday!

Have loved watching him when he's at it.

Really REALLY stupid mistake letting him go if he is leaving. A great player to have in your squad, who gives a **** if he doesn't run around a lot! Agard runs around all game and has only scored 1 goal more with a hell of a lot more starts. KEEP HIM ON COTTS! Apart from El-Abd this would be your worst decision since becoming our manager

Agree with Shiny's comments, in tight games you need a game changer, and JET is just that.

Shiny Cotts may not get a say in it..He's out of contract, Cotts can't promise him football. I agree I would prefer him to stay but then again it depends who we bring in as a replacement?

I think we need to trust our outstanding manager to make the best decisions for Bristol City.

If his hands are tied I think we will find other game-changers

I shook his hand after the game. A very special player when he turns it on.
Not looking forward to playing against him next season. Mind you - I said that about Jon Stead .....

One player worth the entrance fee, sadly not consistent enough for city, after the season he had had,we must trust the gaffer for next season.

Hope he stays, but looks very very unlikely now after his tweet, but cant blame him if hes offered more football elasewhere.

Too inconsistent for me and I doubt that he wants to play a bit part for anyone. If he wants to stay then he should be shouting it from the rooftops - but I gather he isn't.

He was beginning to grow on me however is he really worth the money if he is not going to feature much, hopefully we'll be able to get a better replacement of he goes

Don't think for one moment that the replacement would be as entertaining, but as others say he's really to inconsistent.
One thing I've thought is that Cotterill wanted to look at Agard and Jet as a partnership and based on the last two games it's worked. So who knows he might be getting an extention and he's just saying he's going to miss the training everyday with his teammates.

How effective will JET be in the Championship for us or anyone else.

He didn't exactly set the world alight with Ipswich.

I just don't see him as a Cotterill type player.

Well he scored 12 goals as basically a cameo player. He also started most games with Matt Smith, i think its unfair to say Cotts doesn't rate him. More the fact that Agard and Wilbraham worked so well before injuries Cotts stuck with them, and it worked! Would be foolish to let him go as he's a decent player to have

Well I've heard plenty of rumours, some say he's been offered a contract but is choosing to reject it, others say he hasn't and he's moving to either Birmingham or Charlton. We'll find out in a few hours!

JET's contract and that of Richards not to be renewed - news just out

Both issues due to a need for more football, and both decisions taken by mutual consent

Wade is to be offered under 21 manager's job - and I really hope he takes it
Pack gets offered a new contract
