No not at all. But football is about being entertained, why bother watching football if it's boring you. I'd rather go listen to some music than sit there through a dull game of football. Only reason I watch football is to enjoy it in a similar way to watching a film or tv programme.
Different if you're in the stadium or possibly pub because you can enjoy the atmosphere etc.
Footbal is quite boring though, action wise. lt is 80-85 minutes of boring, no action and about 5-10 minutes max of action. But we still love it because the belief or chance that something might happen is always there.
I think we just see it differently, then. I can't say I class going to Anfield to watch a game the same as going to the cinema to watch a film. And plus I class a Liverpool win as entertainment, even if it is a **** game.

) and they won both the league and CL!
I'm sure you will recall me saying previously (
) that I hated the football under Houllier. Until a couple of recent games, it was the last time I opted not to watch Liverpool play. Sure, the actual winning of the cups were great, especially since we did it the hard way (the Liverpool way it seems) in the finals but that's the crook of the argument isn't it? Potential of four good days a year vs forty plus entertaining matches? I'd preferred Roy Evans' reign over Gerard Houllier's because I watch football to be entertained.
