5 points above u now WITH A GAME IN HAND, shows what a joke you and your other manc assclowns have been talking big all season on this thread. And as for Wenger, you're the ones who were mocking say we want you to stay bla bla trying to be all funny, well Wenger is taking us above your 'genius' of a know it all coach Louis Van Butthead.
Yeah, because Hull are going to make a comeback right....As I said before, it's time you start giving Arsenal their dues, something you really really don't want to do.
Don`t think they will on tonights evidence but then, i never thought they would pull two back against Chelsea so what do i know.
Not a lot, we won, are 5 points ahead of you, with a game in hand. Enjoy finishing below us again this season and keep dreaming about us falling and you ending above us, ain't happening.
Your target for this season has always been to get back into the top 4, which you might do unless you continue on your current **** form of 3 losses in a row. You're also dreaming if you think your any closer to being challengers to Chelski and let alone the title next season based on what you have produced this season. Your lucky you might get 4th, if Liverpool weren't such ****heads signing a bunch of average players, and not letting their heads drop in the last month, they would have had 4th. Liverpool practically handed you 4th spot with their dumb summer decisions. Heck, they deserve to not get into the top 4 because of their stupidity.
Agree with this, our chance of achieving this has taken a severe dent in the last few weeks and i am back to living on hope
Lol 25-30 million: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32625152 United have become a team very good at overspending over the last 2 seasons. United fans no doubt will be saying oh yes yes he is worth every penny bla bla bla we signed the best player in the world.
Do you not agree that he is one of the best young talents in the world Arsenal87? No one would be silly enough to claim he's up there with Messi, but in terms of potential (which still has to be realised, hopefully) he's right up there. And to buy a top youngster you are going to pay a hefty fee, especially when he's just had a really good season, it will naturally inflate the price. Add to that the fact that many teams were rumoured to be interested in him, and the price just keeps climbing. A year ago his price might have been 15+ mil, but being top scorer (predominantly off the wing) and the competition for his signature I'm not that surprised that he's cost a rumoured 22 million Pounds or 30 million Euro (Guardian), might well be over 25 mil though, the papers seem to use a scattergun approach to undisclosed transfer fees. I don't expect you to agree, just putting my thoughts across. Would you honestly prefer him for 25 odd million, or a typical Wenger signing that you've hardly heard of for 10-15 mil?
Allright, here is my view, United have been overpaying for players for the last 2 seasons, and this is another example. Yes, based on his form, he has potential, and is obviously good, but sorry I don't believe he is worth 25-30 million, no way. You need to remember this is also the Dutch League, yes, a good league, but not the best or greatest standards, so doing this in the Netherlands and then getting such an overinflated price because of how good he is in Holland doesn't just mix. If this was in Spain, Germany, Italy, or even France, I'd understand, but the Dutch league competitively is below each one of those leagues so therefore his performances and stats should be taken relative to the competition he is playing in, and for me putting it all together you can say he is worth 12 million, 15 max, but no way in hell 25-30 million. To be honest, if you gave me the option of taking him, I wouldnt, we don't really need him, we are fully stocked up on attacking midfielders-wingers, so stocked up in fact that you will find posts by me saying we can afford to cut Walcott out and sell him, so he's not a player I want if we were linked with him, and certainly not for that money. So if we were going to spend 25-30 million I'd much prefer if be on a world class striker, or a quality CB, not this guy. To be honest as well, I don't see this guy turning things big time for you guys, he's not really what you need, I personally believe you need more steel in midfield, and at least 2 more defenders, and definitely in need of another quality striker. I still think you guys are also lacking a maestro from midfield, someone like Scholes, or a Cazorla-Ozil, Fabregas, someone in that mould who makes plays happens. So if I was a United fan, that's where my intent would be, adding more steel to the midfield, bringing in a maestro type creative middle man, and a couple of defenders, and another striker.
Hes an absolute bargain at 30milliom euros (£22million) Arse87 wouldn't know though because he has no idea who he is. He uses the age old formula.... Signs for United = Rubbish and overpriced
Maybe, when Arsenal have actually signed any of the kind of players listed in your waffle, you might be someone to listen to. All Arsenal need is a midfielder who isnt in a dress, a striker more concerned about scoring goals than his hair, 7 new defenders, 2 new keepers, and a back up striker or two. Actually, just replace your entire side for one that doesn't have the Arsenal mentality.
Arsenal87 will say he is **** because he signed for United, Ozil was a bargain at 40 million right? Just look at his views on Welbeck before and after they brought him
