Our central midfield has looked much more balanced and effective since Quinn has come in for Meyler yet you'd change it back?
Cant fault Meyler for his effort and endeavour , my only problem with him is I always think there a red card waiting to happen . but agree with what you say regards Quinn.
Quinn: Natural left-footer, links up well with Brady, can turn on a sixpence, puts in a decent cross, better passer Meyler: more box to box, better in the air, scores more goals. I'd stick to Quinn for this game.
It's got to be the same team that has won the last two and if we can get a point tonight (please), the boost of going above Newcastle and Villa will lift us before the Burnley game.
How much has Welbeck actually played for them? Not sure how serious our bid was for him but he could have come to us and played every game rather than sit on the bench.
True, but in his defence he's often played left in the midfield three. As a right footer it's not ideal. It means the left wing back doesn't get the ball as often. Both players have pros and cons. Quinn is the better natural footballer of that there is no doubt but sometimes Meyler's battling performances have been pivotal.
The way Quinn linked up with Brady against liverpool should help him cement his place for tonight they were great on that left side together and i hope to see more of the same tonight
About time we beat Arsenal at home again in a league match. The only other occasion was over 100 years ago in April 1915 in a Div 2 game. I am going for the win.
It's exactly the same as what they did in the Championship for the whole season, great linkup play between the two.
am i right in thinking that all the places that are permit parking near the stadium will be OK to park at tonight with it being a bank holiday?
