Derby completely screwed up and missed out on the play offs Pre season favourites to win the league and they was top of the league at end of Feb while being 5 points clear of 3rd
I guess that was the crumble the QPR fans wanted from us last season. They'll have to settle for Lamb Crumble instead.
Not quite... but they haven't been out of the top six since September! It was quite an achievement when you think about it!
What's even funnier is our old friend 'iamjohnfallen' trying to wum Derby when Florist season finished after they'd won the league in August http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/309899
****ing Cov just got out of it by a gnats cock, well it took them the last game of the season. There must be quite abit of dust gathering at the Ricoh these days ?
They were top for ages too but have managed about 6 points from 40 in recent weeks, an impressive capitulation got them out of the play off places. And i saw today due to the tumble weed blowing around the Richo they are only going to open part of it for the chavs home games
So much for McClaren being next Newcastle manager! He'd be lucky to get a League 1 job at this rate... then again, Newcastle could follow the likes of Wolves and Wigan ... They had a solid team last year and should have improved or at least mirrorred last years performance.
The Football League Show called Derby's failure one of the biggest collapses in English football! A failure only matched by their last Premier League campaign.
We did the same thing the year before we went up though, except we scraped into the playoffs in the last minute of the last game.
Don't think we got into the top two until January though did we? And as you say, we DID make the play-offs, albeit with help from elsewhere.
