Best Driver: Hamilton, stunning in the first part of the race. Everyone (almost) wrote him off for a podium, but probably would've had one if his car wasn't underfuelled
Worst Driver: Massa - Not impressed with the way he defended against JB, moving all over the place in the braking zones then ran him clean off the road through Stowe
    Best Rookie: Perez
    Best Team: FIA Ferrari Marlboro
    Worst Team: McLaren
Best Overtake: Button on Massa, Hamilton on Alonso and Kobayashi on Maldonado.
Funniest-moment: Perez on his way to the grid
    Most Surprising Result: ...
Least Surprising Result: Schumacher losing a front wing
Special Mention to: Heidfeld - decent finish considering they were well and truly shafted by the regulation change
Race Rating: 9/10 - Action from the first corner of the first lap, to the last of the last.

You have to be joking. Hamilton drives a "fantastic race" after weaving to defend nearly every move made on him then aiming his car at Webber's Red Bull as Webber made the pass, last but not least the kamikaze move on Massa which by all rights was deserving of at least a time penalty. Yet you give Massa the worst driver accolade after a great duel with jenson.

Have a word with yourself man

people seriously do not understand what weaving is, I didn't see Lewis weave once, I saw him make a couiple of aggressive, but legal, defensive moves. Also totally agree with AG about Massa, he's very dirty to the point of being dangerously unsporting. He has tried to drive someone off the track at almost every GP and is far more likely to kill someone than Lewis IMO.

For the record I'm saying "twitching" not "weaving" nothing more nothing less.

Best Driver: Some very good drives but I'll choose Hamilton this time for a very spirited drive in a car that is not up to the job. Button was also doing well. Alonso drove a fine race too.
Worst driver: Massa, although Rosberg was not particularly impressive either; make no mistake: the Mercedes is a very good car.
Best Rookie: Difficult choice but I'll go for Perez. Ricciardo did all that was required of him but sitting at the back is the best place to introduce oneself to F1 with the least pressure.
    Best Team: Sauber.
Worst Team: McLaren: A poor car and once again let their drivers down in my opinion.
Best Overtake: 4 stand out: Button on Massa; Hamilton on Alonso; Kobayashi's superb retake on Maldonado; Hamilton still overcame Massa at the finish in a far worse car.
Funniest-moment: TV director couldn't cope with the action: a bit of a shame. What they needed was the facility to show two pictures on the screen together.
Most Surprising Result: None: I don't think any result surprised me this time. Rosberg was a bit average but that's not really a surprise. That said, he still out-performed his team-mate over all.
    Least Surprising Result: Vettel podium.
Special Mention to: Schumacher for battling on all day and getting into the points.
Race Rating: 9.2/10. - A superb race once again from Silverstone, but surely nothing can top what we eventually witnessed in Montreal?

Best BBC commentator/presenter: It was great to see
Murray Walker, if only too briefly…
    Worst BBC commentator/presenter: None.
    Best Commentary moment: Don't know.
Overall BBC coverage rating: 8/10: A very good job but a bit of a shame the Director cut away at just the wrong moment, in spite of needing to make a difficult choice. In my opinion they should have stuck with the battle that everyone was watching, since the overtake was imminent, and cut back to Hamilton/Massa a tiny bit later, since it was less imminent.

The stewards were just wrong on the Schumacher incident. Schumacher went where you would expect him to go, and you'll have as much luck second-guessing Kobayashi as you will talking to treacle.

Maintaining the sweet related theme, the lollipop went back down at the pit stop, but Kobayashi ignored it.

I disagree. If you watch this video at about 2mins 50 you can clearly see Schu sliding into Kobayashi. Further to this, you hear DC saying that 'Michael lost the back end'.

I think the way the tarmac was laid out was a pretty good indicator of where Kobayashi was going to go. I don't blame Schumacher, he just locked the rear, Kobayashi was unfortunate to be in front of him at the time. Tearing through Force India's pit box is the only notable mistake he's made this season, but he did make a great move on Maldonado.

Best Driver: Michael Schumacher. He was Brilliant yesterday, could mention fernando alonso, but the rules played into his hands.
Worst Driver:Daniel Ricciardo. Was too slow and looked out of his depth
Best Rookie:paul di resta until the teams mistake made him become erratic
Best Team:Red Bull. 2 Cars on the podium says it all
Worst Team:Red Bull. Used team orders when they said they never use team orders.
    Best Overtake:Button and Massa
Funniest-moment:Mark Webber Blatantly ignoring his team.
Most Surprising Result:Alguersuari getting points again. Good job Jaime
    Least Surprising Result:Vettel on podium
Special Mention to: Jaime Alguersuari. Maturing nicely as the season goes on. More points, and looking the most likely to replace webber at the moment
Race Rating: 7/10 Good action latter stages, but was a bit dull in patches

I don't agree that the stewards were "just plain wrong …". Schumacher is an experienced racing driver and simply made an error of judgement about his ability to slow the car down. He was on new tyres and over-estimated the grip level. This is the sort of error easily associated with a 'rookie'.

I'm not being hard on Schumacher here. He made a mistake which compromised the race of an entirely innocent victim. It was an avoidable accident if Schumacher had understood his car, tyres and brakes more accurately. But he did not. And for this, the rules are crystal clear. And due to the nature of Silverstone's new pit-lane, a stop-go is more appropriate than a drive through and something we should expect to see consistently with this layout.
