Things are improving at the moment - just take a look at how many new cars are on the road.
Labour would **** everything up again.

Noticed less new cars than ever, I have seen a grand total of zero 2015 plates. so something in the economy has obviously gone tits up in the last twelve months.

Besides there is no party in the UK for me, only other countries that are still doing politics the western way which I am increasingly tempted to move to.

If criminal commits three crimes then it should be life imprisonment. Only workers who have been working continuously for 5 or more years should be eligible for benefits (Real, provable disabilities exempt from exclusion. Depression is not eligible for disability status. Obesity not eligible for disability status.). Foreign Aid should be cut to zero and replaced by opening trade mechanisms. Scrap the Lisbon Treaty and demand a return to the original ECC agreement of the 1950's. Start extracting the oil and tell Argentina there will be full scale war if they enter Falkland Islands maritime territory. Nationalise the railways and rail companies, nationalise one of the big banks, nationalise one of the big energy companies and nationalise the all of the water companies. Tax the City with a special 50% corporation tax until the QED is paid back, and ban them from all British commerce if they leave the UK (which would instantly bankrupt them so they would have no choice but to accept the new tax rate). Threaten a total trade ban on offshore nations helping companies and people hiding money and assets. Cease funding for the arts as they would make their own cash is people gave a ****.

You want governments to run businesses <laugh>

Honestly they can't govern a country, how the hell would they run a business ? To run a business there needs to be accountability, a civil servant for example running a British Rail again would be a disaster. There is nothing wrong with businesses running to make a profit, but its the way they are doing it in many cases that needs to be looked at.

If any business is renationalised then its time to run, as it will end in job losses, money down the pan, and clueless civil servants trying to run a private sector business.

Ha ha - no. The thought of Alex Salmond running the Government in Westminster is sufficient to persuade me to vote Tory for the first time ever.

My vote won't make any difference in Neath though! <laugh>

Dai - Salmond will lead the SNP MPs in the House of Commons. He will hold the balance of power if a Labour Minority Government is in office. I never mentioned "coalition".

That is why he stood down as SNP Leader - Nicola Sturgeon may be the nominated leader, but Salmond is the puppet master. <cheers>

The SNP have been quite clever is using the more media friendly Sturgeon.

I agree. Salmond will hold all of the power as he will be able to vote down either Queen speeches, especially if aligned with Plaid and the Greens.

Don't fall for the Tory propaganda that Scotland will rule over the rest of us as it will never happen. All those who vote SNP and plaid will still be ruled by either Tory or labour no matter what.....This election is about who you want to govern the country and whether we like it or not there are just TWO parties in the frame and that is why for this election only i will be abandoning my normal vote and voting tactically for one of the two parties who will win the election. All other votes mean that it will benefit one of the big parties and im not prepared to give my vote that will go in the tories favour, So the only way i can do that is to vote labour even though i would not normally do that...

Dai - it's not Tory propaganda, it is what Salmond himself has said. He will be far too savvy and Machiavellian for Milipede.

Anyway, living in Neath, I'm effectively disenfranchised. It will return a Labour MP once again.........

And you believe him ???? It's what he is desperate for and that is why labour have said no way. Dont worry about the SNP,Plaid and the rest of them as they will not be the ruling party and that's a fact.....there are only two parties in this election all the rest are a wasted vote who will be pawns like the lib dems were who now find their party ****ed...

I'm surprised that you don't - he's "more honest" than either Cameron or Milipede.
