Man United or Liverpool WHO failed worse this season? BOTH, spent OVER £100 MILLION, for a total return of ZERO trophies
I think both clubs proved that it's one thing to spend pots of money on talented individuals but another to produce a team.
You should hear one of the lads in our local rant about Utd! It's hilarious when he goes off on one. They really think they're entitled to success for ever!
They? What kind of things does he say? I can guarantee you he doesn't speak for all of us. I assume you haven't just based that on United fans who watch games in 'locals' nowhere near Manchester and you've felt compelled to compile a consensus based on these rants.
Hard to say, wait until the seasons over I reckon. Strong chance we'll fail worse than either of them.
It was "they" as in all the teams at the top with "their" problems that Quentin referred to. He just happens to be a manc. Don't get me started on the scousers! Ey, Ey Ey! As for Alan, he's a season ticket holder at OT. Took him a couple of years to get it and his first season had Moyes in charge. So he's had quite a bit to rant about the last 18 months! He drives up there for the 3 o'clock kick-off's, sets off 5 minutes before the end, hits the M6 time-warp and is back in the pub by half 6. Takes his mate half an hour to de-stress from the drive back, an hour if they lose!
