The Best and Worst Moments

What are the best and worst moments you've experienced as a fan with your club during your lifetime?

My best was reaching the UEFA Cup Final in 2003. Ultimately we lost to a Porto side managed by Mourinho which would go on to win the Champions League but it was a helluva ride.

Worst was losing to that lot on the last day of the season when that fat wee Celtic supporting prick McDonald scored two late goals for Motherwell!

 

Best? Hosing the FoD 6-2.

Worst? Losing the SPL at Motherwell.

Ditto - although seeing a team of ****e equal a team of legends world record nine-in-a-row was pretty brutal as well

 

Best - Seeing that Hearts fan attack Neil Lennon

Worst - Seeing that poor guy getting arrested.

 

not a best moment but a quality moment - di canio signalling to ferguson he was gonna break his legs

worst moment - lovely pants scoring a winner in the cup final

Best - Watford beating Arsenal in an FA cup QF at highbury.
Worst - getting up at 6AM on Boxing day to watch us get horsed 5-0 by Fulham in temperatues of arouing -5 and with winds whistling in off the Thames around the away terrace. It was 10 years ago and thinking about it now still gives me chillblains.

Still thought that Rangers, Celtic and some South American team shared the world record at the time of Rangers getting nine, though...

 

I support United and the best has to be the 1999 treble season and the worst would be getting owned by Barcelona in 2 CL finals

 

I'm no expert on the subject but to get nine in a row surely they couldn't have been ****e?

 

The Celtic team that did 9IAR reached two European Cup finals winning one. The Rangers team that did 9IAR reached no European cup finals.

It's all relative.

 

That doesn't matter though, maybe that Celtic team were better having reached European finals but that doesn't automatically mean the Rangers team was ****e does it?

If that were true do you think I would cite reaching the UEFA Cup in 2003 as the best moment over winning the European Cup?
