Spot on, mate. Seven points out of fifteen might be no good to Chelsea or Man. C. but it's bloody priceless for us. Haway, Mr. Advocaat - I'm with you.
In theory yes pops, but reality is the lack of chances and clinical edge means most of our Draws have been a point gained rather than two points lost. We've been camped in our own half 90% of the season. The more direct approach is working though, and credit to Gus. our confidence in retaining the ball really helped get us over the line today.
I have to say I don't like his three up front. I think playing Defoe wide is a mistake. Thankfully Fletcher is out because Danny Graham led the line well. Just don't expect him to score. We are a woeful side who almost Bolloxed up a golden gift today. Despite my remonstrations though we are still in it and if Dick keeps us up with Coates and Vergini at the back he deserves the Nobel prize.
To be fair I think the first penalty was a sending off. It wasn't malicious in the slightest but he looked last man from my angle.
Fair play to Graham for working his nuts off and that is more than what Fletcher gives us. We'll done to the lads and hopefully we get 4 points out of the next 2. Cattermole easy the best player today.
Too old fashioned for England, FA and Woy are far too interested in us loosing our footballing identity
Cats was a xcellent today. Good to have Seb back as well. I am not falling into the trap of believing though. Only a stunning save got us a win against 10 men. I'm expecting nothing so I can't be disappointed again.
Yes but only a monumental cock up gifted Southampton their goal. They wouldn't have scored otherwise and it'd have been 2-0 when that stunning save occurred in theory
After the Leicester result at lunchtime, I thought it was just between us and Villa. Then we both win. I didn't see that coming either. So now Hull and the Mags are right back into the mix! I still see Leicester getting out of it, but if we can beat them the pressures gonna be right back on them. My god this is gonna be one hell of a last couple of weeks!
the top of the league is the usual boring lot, give me the bottom six any time for excitement and emotion.
Worse. He impressed me last week against a more physical Stoke but he was all over the place today, hope to God that JOS and WB are OK for next week.
