The players shouldn't need motivating though. They should be wanting to play CL football.

Hell, they should be wanting to play in and win a cup final too but thru weren't bothered! What more motivation do you need than playing at Wembley?

The villa players improved 50% with him. If the players can't be arsed, whose fault is it? Who has responbility to whip them? Why do you think Rodgers ALWAYS says that his players have given 110% and couldn't have worked harder?

If Shay Given had stayed on his feet he could have walked over to the ball and picked it up from that penalty
