Living the wrong side of the pond and only getting back for 12 weeks a season, Then getting to see the horns home or away will be the problem
By all accounts the Wally with the Brolly, having successfully failed Derby, is about to take emergency charge at Newcastle. He must like working in the Championship...
So they had to abandon the game at Blackpool when they couldn't get the fans off the pitch. Quite what will happen now no one seems to know. I fully understand the dislike that the fans have for the owners. Will they get them to sell up and leave? I suspect that will only happen when they do not have any money left in the club.
It may not be PC, but well done to the Blackpool fans. Something seems rotten at that club and fans have very little say at the best of times. Assume it will be awarded to H'field as the points make a difference to their final position.
I would not be surprised though if Blackpool now get a huge points deduction to start next season - if not a ground closure. You have to feel sorry for the fans but was this really sensible?
I see Mike Williamson's manager has accused him of deliberately getting himself sent off. This is the same Mike Williamson who refused to play for Watford in order to force a transfer to Newcastle. Tosser.
Probably not Leo but how else could they make their voices felt? I suspect they have won many admirers today which is part of the battle I suppose.
The owner of Blackpool is the same guy who got them to the Premier league - what has gone so wrong. Guess its all put into perspective when you hear about Rio Ferdinand's wife.
There is a lot that can be and has been said about the owners at Blackpool. However as they have taken a number of forum posters to court it is perhaps wise to not comment too much. Very sad that anyone as young as Rio's wife should die. At least he will have the resourses to look after their children, although that cannot make up for her loss.
Sad for Rio. I've been there and you definitely need friends around you, not so much immediately afterwards but when time has moved on a bit and others have forgotten.
Too close to home at the moment and I can imagine how terrible it is for the family. Very sad for Rio
Bristol City did exactly what we should have done yesterday - ran riot with 8 goals. Good to see Colchester stay up by beating Preston.
I may be wrong, but I thought that it was Owen Oyston who was the owner when they got to the PL. The current owner is his son Karl. Judging by the footage of him smiling at the demonstration, he couldn't give a **** about the club and it's supporters. If I was a Blackpool fan, I would be worried about what that smile actually means in terms of the future of the club.
I thought it was so funny that there x owner said "Who would come and play for them if he did not pay back handers " i think that said it all they will not get the same coverage when they drop down anther div
