    2nd half performance was as good as the 1st was bad. Fair play to Monk cos we came out after the interval with all guns blazing, everyone upped their game and we should have been out of sight well before Ki slotted in the 2nd. Taylor MOM for me, tireless and competitive throughout but special mention to Dyer who put in a 2nd half performance that we havent seen since the start of the season. Oh...and great to get one over on Stoke of course!

    A great result, would love us to hit 60 points this season, but another win and I will be a happy swans fan this season. Truth is though I'm happy now :)

    First half was disappointing but second half was much better.

    For me, Shelvey was immense, my MOM, followed closely by Taylor. Good to see Nathan hit some form, whilst Fernandez was again quietly efficient, albeit that he did have 2 or 3 poor passes.

    2-0 was a fair result in the end, but how they only had 3 players booked (one of whom was later sent-off) was pretty surprising. I was beginning to think that the ref had left his cards in the dressing room.<laugh>

    Given the amount of fouls against us and the fact the ref did nothing to stop it I feared that Jonjo would lose the plot and do something stupid but he showed a great amount of maturity out there today. The public slating that Monk gave has certainly worked as Jonjo has responded in a great way.

    He should have gone for a second yellow 5 seconds earlier for the foul on Rangel too.

    I agree Valley. The Jonjo of last season (even possibly the first half of this season) could very well have decided that enough is enough and decided to mete out some retribution of his own, and poor old Charlie Adam may have ended up being on the receiving end of some nasty challenges. On second thoughts, ........<whistle>

    Montero could be our new michu, mini bony and a bit of trundle rolled into one for us next season ? the lads got serious ability if we can keep him and he stays injury free he could be one of our best players for years ! chuffed to have done a dirty arrogant stoke so another 90% happy from me

    MotM Jonjo today - not sure he needed to get on Montero's back as much as he did though.
    Excellent work from Ki once he was on.
    Gutsy first half and much more fluid second.
