Now both Ince and Maguire seasons are finished are they available for selection in our remaining games ?
We have to really go for it if Chelsea wrap the title up tomorrow. The Gooners will not want to risk injury with a cup final approaching. It'll still be a tough game, even if did decide to rest a few stars, but with same level of commitment and determination we have displayed recently, maybe just maybe we can sneak something.
Same team, same tactics. Arsenal play a similar formation to Liverpool, 4-5-1, with the 2 wide players pushing forward to make it a 4-3-3 at times. Contain them, make sure we don't make any mistakes and perform to the levels of the last 2 games and I reckon a point is definitely realistic. Although I do hope we stuff them, I absolutely hate Arsenal fans, they're so arrogant it makes my blood boil! (Plus, we owe them one!)
Liverpool didn't make use of their wide players against us. You can't just contain Arsenal who are better than Liverpool and Man U at the moment. We will need an outlet at ALL times - i.e. N'Doye or Jela because I don't want tot see a forward removed in the last 5 mins again, there was no way of relieving the pressure. We got away with it vs LFC but not in other games. It's a critisism I have of SB and one of the reasons we've conceded late goals.
Giroud will cause us a lot more problems than Balotelli though, as will Cazorla and Sanchez, compared to Sterling and Ibe.
I completely agree with you, pushing Ramirez up front is not the answer. I thought he should of replaced N'Doye with Sagbo, he can hold the ball up brilliantly, although that's about all he can do.
I don't think we'll see Sagbo again I don't expect him to even make the bench for the remaining games.
I'm not sure if anyone has already said this but I am thinking if Chelsea win today, I wonder if Arsenal will field a weaker side against us, bearing in mind they have an FA Cup final coming up.
