He got injured you bellend. He twisted his ankle slightly after the initial contact. Cattermole didn't look angry in the slightest.
Long is trying to make runs on offense. Sometimes that means opposing back is free on a counter. JWP is a terrible defender. That's what causes most of the mismatches.
And? He's been flopping around like a bloody whale for the last 4 games. It's hard to take his injury seriously when he's been acting like a tosser
You can get away with the central player not tracking back much when you are playing with 2 out and out DM's. The wingers are responsible for helping Clyne and Bertrand out with the opposition wingers and full backs
Agree'd that he's a small bloke. But some of his free-kick appeals against spurs last week were cringe-inducing.
How can we play so well against Spurs then so poorly today. Liverpool are stuttering - any points would have given us a fillip today.
I'm not sure, but the more I see of Djuricic and Elia, the more I think we'd benefit more from trying some youngsters
Problem is we need more of a squad but we are likely to lose more players this summer and it will be hard to bring in five or six quality players.
Yeah, think we ought to give some of the kiddies real time, possible even a couple starts, over the remaining three games. Not much harm in doing so.
Problem being is that we can't keep relying on Liverpool and Spuds to throw away points (LP currently 1-1 with QPR). We'll all agree the red card was bollocks, but can't really pinpoint anyone out there at the moment whose played a half decent game. It's concerning that these are the games where the mentality of the players should be: "We can't afford to lose" and yet we produce this kind of performance.
