Oh my days!......Well, there's never a dull moment when you're a Town supporter! Let's just hope we can gel as a squad for these historical play-offs.
Always said we would make the play offs................... Thought on another day Sears would have at least scored twice.......think the nerves had an effect on a few players Bishop didn't do a lot first half bit better second half great run for the pen.........good ball from Tabb for the first goal and great finish from Murph....... How good to have an exciting end to a season for a change......... On to the play offs....nothing to lose.
Hunty was ****ing awful today, hard to,pick between him a Tabby who had a worse game, mind saying that Mings and Parr not far behind them.....we have our secret weapon back to pluck the Budgies.... Varney...bring it!
To be fair to Hunt when he came on it was pretty nervy I think every Town Fan/player had clenched bum cheeks.....and it's hard to walk let alone play football with clenched cheeks.... Mings did make some errors but I thought that he kept going and did some good work at times.
Weighty that is not good enough, for someone as experienced as Hunty he should not be suffering from "clenched butt cheeks" Our midfield v The Budgies should be; Bru Varney Skuse Bishop

Listened to the game whilst getting new brake discs fitted. The most uncomfortable 90 mins I can remember. Not to mention the f****** bill! Well thank god that's over. Didn't want to face Norwich again this season but hey, more excitement to come. We need to be better than today...just to state the obvious. Just hope we don't choke again. Third time lucky maybe? That was, oddly, one of the best games i've ever witnessed. Glad I made the trip. Early goal killed our attacking intent, we were happy to defend our 3 points and it all went tits up. Thank god for Reading. Need to be better than that for the Play-Offs but season objective achieved, everything else is a bonus. going to enjoy the next two weeks as much as possible.
Just got back from the game, thoughts - ( mine, you are all entitled to yours ) " Parr, Mings, Hunt and Tabb were bloosy terrible. Far better once Tabb off, learn from it Mick!! " Hunt agree with, SHOCKING. Parr after a good 10, waste of time. Mings 50/50 - stupid third goal. Tabb had a decent first half. His positional sense was poor granted, but he was far better than shocking Hunt second half. God S.Hunt was awful. * We fluffed quite a few chances! * Looked VERY suspect at the back. * Was surprised at from being so comfortable at 1-0 up it went to 3-1 down and disaster. Dreadful! But at the end of the day, we've made the play offs and that's a cracking season. Get Bent people were screaming, look at Derby FFS Mick SPEND etc. Well that sure as hell served Derby well hasn't it. Sorry but once MdGoldrick got crocked top 2 was never going to happen, so whether we came 3 4 5 6 I actually couldn't care less they all equate to the play offs. Potentially three games left, come on lads!!!!! I'll be at Portman Road sat.
Hunt was dreadful, Freddie missed 3 good chances, Murph scored 2 but spooned a chance over the bar from about 3 yards, but most of all we have to get that once solid defence sorted out, there was no marking whatsoever for 2 of their goals and Mings was often strolling around at the other end of the pitch. All that said the Town fans were brilliant and it was terrific being amongst them, the noise never stopped and considering some of them had been up since 3AM it was fabulous support.
Well boys, I am as happy, excited and shocked that we made it ,but by christ we dont half make it hard for ourselves! The rest is a bonus, and lets just enjoy it. In a sense I bet MM will say exactly that...go out and enjoy yourselves lads.nyou have already over-achieved...PR will be rocking! No pressure like today that got to half the team..... just bash those canaries, ruffle their feathers and give it a helluva go!
