Ruined my whole afternoon
but can't spoil the summer of anticipation

 

Yes - 2 prats chucking flares and the pitch invader probably cost us the league. Utterly disgusted. But we have had an amazing season - the best since GT part 1. well done lads

 

Me too - their freefall has been a bit spectacular. Their inability to score recently could be explained by this ...

 

Hard to take - but will get over it in time - we have had the rub of the green recently and today we just need the extra goal and possibly not the distraction during the final minute.

 

Although it is easy to blame the idiots, we should have been out of sight by half time.

 

Make no mistake OFH those f*****g chimps cost us the title. Life bans from all football. Maggots.

the flaire throwers yes - i am holdimg fire on the pitch invader as I have a feeling he may be handicapped. He should not have been there though.

I am cheerless. All looked to be well except for not scoring more goals and at the death...

 

We could have conceeded at the death last week Gomes saved us, not to mention the sand saving us as well. And any of you who watched the game up at Derby will know it was backs to the wall, desperate stuff for much of the second half. Just two matches which could so easily have ended differently and more importantly did not. It was very much in our hands and within our grasp but we are Premeir League next season so we have ultimately come out on top. Would not like to be a Wolves or Derby fan just now, they really must be hurting.

Well done to Bournemouth, I was in a pub in Somerset last Tues and the landlady and some of the patrons were Bournemouth supporters so we had some pleasant banter with me indicating we would be champs - glad I am not there now.

Have been kidding myself all week that it didn't matter whether we went up as champions or not - but in the end it really hurt. As others have said we should have been cruising by half time, but, football can be cruel at times. Congrats to Bournemouth (would have done it on their board, but there's no one there).

 

Just read elsewhere a claim that he had apparently borrowed someone's season ticket to go to the match. That season ticket holder could be in trouble...

 

Spot on. We beat ourselves today. Very strange and muted lap of honour. Feels like we haven't had a proper opportunity to celebrate promotion. I'm sure all will be forgotten come August, but for now...

 

I feel the same Bloother -maybe it shouldn't matter but it really hurts. I also blame the Football League - I dont ever want to play a team from Yorkshire at home on the last day of the season again

 

Gutted. We should have won but I blame the fans at the end for taking the players concentration off the pitch.. Bloody idiots.
