Most people cannot discuss their Premier League football team or the Premier League itself without also discussing PL money. It makes me ****ing sick. Our brew room is heavy with supporters of Liverpool, United & Man City. A couple of Evertonians & an Arse. I've obviously had a ball with them all this week, yet all but 2 conversations drifted, without being led by me, to money. The ****ers, meaning supporters & not the clubs, see finishing fourth as bigger than winning the FA Cup, they see the League Cup & the Europa League as a hindrance to them "winning" fourth place. It's all ****ed up & it's ****.

Maybe the issue is the poor distribution of the money rather than envy of those that do get it. I'd rather more of it went to lower leagues and grass root football. I'm not sure how that's anything to do with envy or this thread.

Iv'e had to turn a blind eye or bury my head in the sand away from footballs ills for years. Iv'e seen that a time would surely come when i'd have to turn away from the game completely,but i suppose it's a difficult habit to break. Football is disgusting to the point where i feel ashamed of myself for still loving it. If i was half the man i thought i was,i'd have walked away years ago,when Sky took a hold or Wimbledon became MK Dons,when players started diving and play acting,Dad's could no longer afford to take the kids,ad nauseam.....
