If it wasn't for the chance they'd probably try to use it as support for their position, it could be worth making cheques payable to Hull Tigers as a piss take.
I can't find it now but someone posted that the renewal form said something like get your pass for Hull Tigers. I would guess if you renew on those terms it would in effect be a contract you have agreed to, and you would not be able to get any refund if the name change happens.
Just out of interest. For all those getting the wrong details, are they correct when you log on to the tiger leisure site. Hard to understand how so many can be wrong.
Now now chazz. Let's just wait and see. Our ticket office has always appeared to be half staffed by volunteers from the women's institute. IT skills never seem high on their CV's.
Now you have mssunderstood even though it was you that suggested making cheques payable to Hull Tigers. If the covering letter says renew your pass to Hull Tigers and you pay by whatever means and to whichever named bank account, have you entered into a contract type agreement?
I haven't opened mine yet. But the contract is the form not the letter. If it says Hull Tigers on the form you just cross it out and put Hull City. If you're planning for the future then you take a photocopy before you hand it over.
They can easily set their bank account to accept Hull Tigers cheques. At least we add a major data protection breach to the list of incompetent actions.
Just got round to opening mine Mobile number is completely wrong, I might text it though and see if it is another City fans number. Stand by your phones!
That make's it sound like you are very sure, but I wouldn't trust the lying ****s as far as I could throw them. Imagine the scene, your renewal clearly states season ticket for Hull Tigers, you pay by whatever method, the FA agree to the name change ( god forbid ) during the off season, you are a Hull City fan who's had enough and doesn't want to go see Hull Tigers so you ask for your money back. The club says you can't have your money back as it was clearly shown what you were paying for.
What suggestion? pay cheques to Hull Tigers? I thought we had moved on and passed your joke. My point was serious, its important to know.
If you cancel a direct debit you've agreed to pay, they can just restart it if they want. They have the mandate to take the money out.
