The Sunday Mirror backpage headline news story on 10th July, 2011.
The opening line read:-
“Rob Earnshaw has pleaded with Craig Bellamy to join him at Swansea.”

As if earnie would get in our squad , and Huw would pay for Bellamy!

 

I think that's what you call a Freudian slip - saying what's on your mind, rather than saying what you meant to say.

Clearly Earnie wishes he'd taken J42 instead of J32

 

it seems that Mirror can read the minds of players! I can't blame Earnie and Bellamy wanting to come to a good team.

Nothing to panic about , otherwise we wouldn't have turned down Earnie and Bellamy's enquiries ..................

 

and we've loaned a centre back for the year, one of the most promising in england.

 

Really biased reporting I thought.
Earnshaw looking for promotion with Cardiff (as if that is going to happen) and on the same page reporting that Swansea's first season in the Premiership is on rocky ground (or hammer blow) because we've not signed some bloody keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!
