I wasn't questioning his motive, I was questioning his behaviour. He has every right to be annoyed, that's human nature, but he should have known better than to react like that and that's what was embarrassing about it. You were defending him and now he's come out and apologised it's made you look like a bit of a mug.
You think the whole thing was planned, just to deflect attention from a loss? You give him far too much credit, he was quite obviously just pissed off.
He started it by mentioning the criticism of the players. Bait for some journalist to pick up. In the second interview he just smirked as the BBC reporter kept going on and on about his apology and the manager of the month award. The smirk of somebody who's thinking job done. He knew what he was doing, whether he could have done the same thing differently without the hassle, most probably. How many times does Steve Bruce mention the ref when we've won compared to when we lose? If Leicester stay up he'll not care, he'll have done what he's paid for.
Presumably he deflected attention from a previous loss by telling a fan to **** off and die. He's just a bad tempered bloke who doesn't like losing.
Betting has never been something I could get excited about. I wouldn't want to spend one penny or one thousand pounds on a bet.
BBC's Pat Murphy gives Pearson a proper dressing down. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32543893
Right. Not been on much for a day or two so i didn't see that it had already been posted. Try to ignore it
Yer and no Fosse, it was a a £3 punt, hardly the end of the world. Well done today btw, I just thought that the barcodes would have to wake up at some point, and this would have been the match, it appears not.
The Leicester fans always downplaying NP's meltdowns is similar to the way the Allam fans try to play down whatever his latest scandal is. "He's ean easy target for the media." He called someone an ostrich ffs! If any manager said that they'd be mocked for it. He proudly claimed he's flexible enough to bend over and put his hand in the sand, but in a previous breakdown he asked for sympathy by saying that he'd had two knee replacements and "taken quite a nasty fall". Make your mind up big Nige, are you a big hard man or not? I rate him as a manager, but the bloke's a fruit loop, that's why the media focus on him.
