Spot on valley my sentiments exactly i have already voted for plaid have been told its a wasted vote blah blah blah. But hey its my vote and personally they have been the ones that have spoken sense
People wonder why the majority of wales would never vote for the nasty party........well all i can say is WE REMEMBER and cant forget how the Tories destroyed our country from top to bottom that put generations into poverty........we cant or should never forget that....
Exactly Dai, I remember the miners strike of the 80s and how in my village we were giving food to those out strike. After it that bitch dismantled the mining industry despite there being millions of tons of coal there. We now import coal from places like Russia, and they are now looking at opening abandoned mines as we don't want rely on them to provide us energies
The trouble is Dai, we had 13 years of a Labour government and Labour have ruled in the Assembly since devolution was passed, yet they have done NOTHING for the economies destroyed by Thatcher. If the area is not within a stones throw of the M4, Welsh Labour don't give a monkies either. Just like the Westminster government who only care about the City of London, Welsh Labour only give a rats arse about Cardiff Bay.
Britain is one of the wealthiest countries in the world!! So why are we worried about the countries debt? The rich aren't bothered, maybe it's time to understand the forces at play in this ever divided nation? The French would never put up with all this garbage that we do............
There's some merit in that Valley, but look at it this way, the conservatives don't give a toss about any part of the UK unless it's England, and South East England specifically. The conservatives are basically an English party only. As for the lib dems, they when in control of Swansea council who brought in the bendy bus, need I say anymore?
Credit to their trade unions. The unions in Britain are spineless and as weak as the Labour Party. 5 years in control and the unions have not done a damn thing to fight them.
Just a thought. I wonder what would happen if nobody voted as a protest. In reality of course this would never happen because the majority of the population suffer from the sheep position (if you pardon the pun.)
I have often thought about this, I would love a ground swell to develop a no confidence in westminster, by the country boycotting the ballet box, but the nation is so divided, and as you say the sheep will always go where they are told.............
The queen would take over, and it would be good , I can see her now saying off with their heads like in blackadder
You talking about the mining industry? Tell me again about the days when the miners drove around in Bentley's.
And Labour have proven that if they are in charge the funding will not increase, yet some here are adamant that Labour is a party for Wales.
Labour is the only party for wales, there is no one else capable or strong enough to run the country on what central government give us....
