We have the best derby in the country, i find it ****ing mind boggling that it's not shown live. Fans form everywhere compliment our derby, 4 weeks in Spain and i've had the 'why is Sunderland V Newcastle so frisky' chat countless times. Maybe Northumbria Police, the most inept bunch of ****ing imbeciles in the land (if it's not a driving offense, it's not a ****ing crime, apparently), have gone as far as to request it isn't shown to keep people out of the pubs and bars? Facts are, bars galore will be showing the match using illegal streams, and the police force will lack the manpower to start shutting them down.
I think it is more the principle than anything. Also, the quality over here in England is awful and you don't always get a stream.
Commachio They are on 4 times Mon 12: QPR v Newcastle (8pm) Sun 16: Newcastle v Tottenham (4pm) Mon 31: Stoke v Newcastle (8pm) Sat 5: Newcastle v Everton (12.45pm) F***in T***s
And to top it off they've put our away game against Norwich on a ****ing Monday night. Should be a rule in place where no journeys like this should be made during the week - all games for long sdistance travelling supporters should be on a weekend or bank holiday
Is equality too much to ask for? Absolute joke. Although im gonna be in the middle of a forrest in finland when the derby is on. Are we on espn much?
Bill - Clubs get money for appearing on Sky - (Quite a significant amount too) - it's not about watching the games it's about the blatant bias against us
These games are only to November, depending on how we start, we may feature a lot more as the season draws on.

Do you think Quinny and the club had anything to do with this after his thoughts about stay aways watching in the pub? As for me i watch 80% of matches live here in philippines, happy days
i find this an absolute disgrace, biggest derby in the country overlooked, 1 game between now and the end of November, Norwich away on a Monday night, what a ****ing joke. Was already thinking of cancelling my subscription and this has just confirmed it. Murdoch **** off.
SAFC.com says we also have a midweek game vs. QPR which will be on Sky in December... http://www.safc.com/news/20110711/visit-to-norwich-selected-for-sky_2256213_2390158
