If you like a bet the market for first championship manager to get fired may be just the place for you!
Good morning all from a chilly Weston-super-Mare! Please be very vocal today to help push the Golden Boys to one more win and go up as champions! All the very best of luck to you all, make it the "Golden Boys show" not the "Lee Probert show!" Have a brilliant day!
Thanks Dave! It's here!!!! I'm so excited and a teensy bit nervous coz much as it doesn't really matter (I've been trying to tell myself that all week!) I really really REALLY want to us to win today and see Troy lift the trophy! COYH!!!
Morning all, not the best of weather here today, but it has stopped raining at long last. Planned to do the weekly shop yesterday, but everywhere was shut for the 1st May holiday. Off therefore to get some essentials. The wine rack needs fresh supplies and I expect Mme will suggest we get some food as well. Will the trophy be hovering in a helicopter somewhere between Watford and Charlton? Maybe they have two, one a fake that can be wheeled out. Maybe they will not hand it over today, I don't know what happens.
Someone on the radio this morning said the actual trophy was at Vicarage Road and a replica at Charlton, though it was 'Fighting Talk' so they could have made it up!
As reported, a couple of weeks ago I had my monthly lunch out with a Norwich, Middlesborough and Forest fan. After we were promoted I received well done mails from the Boro and Forest fan. The Forest fan was hoping that as his lot had failed, maybe Derby could represent the Midlands and get into the play offs. Not a good week for the Midlands then. Seeing as I heard nothing from the Norwich fan should I wish them well? Seeing as I probably will not be searching for a signal this year to follow the play offs, my vibes from afar will probably have no influence on matters, However whoever gets through the lottery will deserve promotion.
OFH, on your previous comments regarding the numerous public holidays in France during May, we turned up to drop our daughter off at school to find it closed on more than one occasion. Luckily there was always a superb cafe nearby to have a grand creme and croissants. I really miss our French life but get to see the horns regularly so not all bad. Bon nuit.
