Which of our loans would you like to see signed on a perm basis? I think I speak for most in saying that I'd love Toby to stay but can't see that happening. Still you never know. Elia I think would be a decent squad player which we would need if in European competition but only if he is relatively cheap to sign. Djuricic hasn't done enough for me. Thoughts?

I haven't seen enough of Djuricic to pass judgement.
Elia - I am undecided. Seen flashes but again not really seen too much of him.

    Toby - er, yes please.

    Agreed.

Seriously i don't see what Djuricic ads that we don't have already. He's a decent player but not what we need. I'll take Elia because he's cheap, wants to be here and can add a little something off the bench/occasional starter for us though i wouldn't be distraught if he left either.

Ron and/or Les please try to keep Toby. I didnt feel this way about Dejan but Toby seems to have a natural understanding with jose and i hope we spring for whatever Athletico want for him because good defenders are a premium and him + Jose are peas in a goal-stymied pod.

obviously Toby. I thought what I've seen of Djuricic was good, but like everyone else, not seen enough of him. Elia has only impressed me in little bursts, mostly not impressed.

We needed some bodies in, so we got Elia and Djuricic. Elia desperately wanted to be here, so he won my heart with that....and let's not forget his 2 goals (a la Forte). Koeman sees them every day and knows about injuries (if any) and whether they have potential...may also depend on who leaves. I'm not sure that either is as good as we want to be, but we are known for lifting players above themselves...I'll trust Ron on that.

    Alderweireld - Yes please
Elia - Hasn't done much for me. I'd let him go but wouldn't be upset if he stayed to fill out the squad
Djuricic - Tough one. I think I can recall some nice touches but he's barely played (although I know he's had an injury) so I can only assume he's not as good as Elia. Don't really know though

    Toby absolutely!
Elia, not so sure but if cheap would take him as a squad player who can do a job
Djuricic - no. Not done much and always injured

Apparently MU are considering loaning out Januzaj next season (though they may not want to lend him to a competitor :)) - I'd rather see him brought in for a season than Elia or Djuricic from what we've seen to date. As people have said though, they'd both be useful squad players if we make Europe.

I like Djuricic. He was very good against Palace and looked decent against Liverpool. A good option off the bench.

I think all three are worth having. Djuricic obviously has some talent, but we've not seen too much of it. Elia has obvious skill - and works hard for the team - but somehow doesn't make enough happen. Alderweireld? Ah, he's okay...

    Toby obviously.

Elia no. He hasn't impressed me. He's always taking a moment to take on a player and then usually realises that the area is too crowded and he won't make it, so he plays the ball behind and attack comes to nothing, when maybe there were some better opions if he released the ball earlier. Though he' cheap and willing to be here and I wouldn't really mind having him as a backup.

Djuricic I haven't seen much of to make a judgement. Maybe. He looks lightweight, I think, and struggles against strong opponents. I would also add that I really liked what I saw of Hesketh and I think we should make space for him to gradually enter the first team.

From what I've read heard the agreed fee on Alderweireld is something like £6m so this is a complete no brainer on whether or not we should at least be bidding that, whether he will sign permanently is a different matter.

Agreed fee on Elia is around £4m if I remember correctly. Cheap nowadays for any player, wouldn't mind buying him especially if we make Europa as we will need bodies in the squad and I wouldn't like to be bringing in practically a whole new teams worth. He has been here a few months and seems happy.

Djuric's fee was around £9m. Not done anything to justify that sort of money imo, hasn't played loads but that probably says quite a bit aswell. Was on loan at Mainz for the first half of the season and wasn't particularly good in a team worse than Saints. Would be disappointed if we bought him at the agreed price.

We have nearly a 0% chance of getting Toby for £6m.

I think Elia does what Ron wants him to do, and appears pretty disciplined on the pitch in terms of tracking back and work rate. It is not always about the skilful attacking bit. Ron might value that; remember Ron likes his teams to be defensively strong first.

Elia simply hasn't impressed me. Not seen much of Djuricic to really form an opinion, so not fussed.

Toby on the other hand .....

Wasn't a straightforward option as we all know, but I would hope Saints could offer enough to satisfy Atletico. We have to hope they aren't serious about wanting him back. Our advantage is that he is here and wants to be here and, if a deal can be struck, everything could go through quickly and smoothly. If not, we get our little bit of compo.
