So let's get this straight. Your idea of "suffering" is having a car taken off you and having to catch a bus/train? Have I got that right? Out here "in the real world" the streets are awash with cars paid on the motability. Ask around. Most people can't believe the amount of people on their estate that get free cars....and most will tell you that these cars are mainly used by relatives who are not disabled at all and give a lift to their disabled relative every now and again. Can anyone who lives in the "real world" confirm this? In the example I quoted the person with a mental health condition is extremely well looked after and has been for 15 years, will probably be for the next 15 years. They have been looked after out of our taxes and I am very happy with that. Like I said, I always vote to be taxed more. Do I think that being able to buy a few less luxuries at Marks and Spencer is "suffering"? Do I ****. This wouldn't be necessary without the Labour party's overspend anyway?!?!? We were told that Labour's spending was necessary, that it was investment to build the country we need and an exciting dynamic economy of the future. Where the **** is this economy that Labour built with all of their spending on infrastructure? It's easy spending other people's money, quite a bit harder sticking your hand up to pay more in. Everyone reading should watch today's Daily Politics on BBC iplayer. Andrew Neil puts a point of view very similar to my own to Hilary Benn. Hilary Benn argues why the Labour party was not responsible for the deficit and why all that spending was justified. Andrew Neil then quizzes him on Labour's election pledges and Benn flounders....then Jo Coburn attempts to get a straight answer out of him regarding potential deals with the SNP. You decide. Phillip, shouldn't you be practising hand to hand combat or something. After all the revolution is not just going to happen all by itself
Have you ever tried catching a bus with a wheelchair? Have you ever tried going about a third of a mile to catch a bus in one? Have you ever tried then going almost a mile to where they need to go in that same wheelchair? And you consider it a luxury, have I got that straight? I am not going on about what other people think, you can be disabled as defined under the Equality Act 2010 and need a vehicle to lead as normal life as possible ! People don't choose to be disabled for gawds sake, and they don't people like you to say these are luxuries, the doctors who are infinitely more qualified in people's personal situation than you should be deciding if someone is disabled, not a bureaucrat on commission for cutting benefits!
I am very adapt at looking after myself, Now lets look at the next crisis on the horizon? Greece! How long until the default? How long before there is a run on the euro? Today the Greece government has decreed all reserves from all Government departments be sent to Athens? Desperation? Will they plunder the Greek Pension Funds? How will they then pay future pensions, and for that matter how will any Western Governments be able to fund future pensions? Plenty of financial tremors still to come, and I'm looking forward to it. Capitalism is in it's end game, and the £32 Trillion stashed away in off shore accounts will be of no value to the ruling elite when the next big crunch comes...........

Really good post there PGF, the Lib Dems have abandoned their core principles IMO, I was going to vote them last time round as labour under Brown was a disaster. Now I would rather vote the monster raving luny party than them, they have jumped into bed with the party that dismantled heavy industry in the 80s, sold out to big business in the 90s, and in the 10s they targeted the vulnerable. And the sickening part about it is that the Lib Dems are party to it in the this last government. The actual starting of the food banks began on here watch after her policy of closing down industries in such a short space of time that the working man could not feed his family. People from Wales,north east,Yorkshire and Scotland were the worst hit with most unable to recover to this present day. The fact is this country is in a hell of a mess and its rich that the Tories take every opportunity to blame labour to get out of answering questions. Sadly Cuts have to be made and the argument now is where these cuts must come from. ..The nasty party believe that it must come from welfare cuts and are planning to cut double more than what they have already done and if you think people are living in poverty then you have not seen nothing yet. ..The Labour party want to take things much slower and aim the cuts to where they can afford to take the hit and end tax avoidance completely.......Whoever wins controlling power have a very hard 5 years with some unpopular decisions to make but the question is who will do the job the fairest way and in my personal view the con/dem have rightly earned the title of the nasty party and even though i am not new labour i hope they can find a partner they can work with and win the election.......Another 5 years of Tory rule don't bare thinking about as they are only concerned about the more fortunate people in our society and not the whole country whether rich or poor as what all parties should be doing.....
The point is this, the Tory party have conquered and divided for decades, now every mans hand is against his neighbour, and Terror's last post above is a clear example of this, he is trying to justify the Bedroom tax because one little girl has 2 bedrooms, 2 Bloody bedrooms? and in his view she should have just one, it's so pathetic it beggars belief, he's not thought about the fact that there is a chronic shortage of 1 bedroom accommodation, something the Tories new about even when they were constructing this forced eviction into small accommodation. Im a socialist valley but this election is the most important election in our history and i will vote for the only party that can stop the nasty party from ruling for another 5 years and that means i will have to vote labour, any other vote is a wasted vote and gives the nasty party a better chance of getting in......Loyalty goes out the window unfortunately this time.......there is too much at stake for everyone who is not rich enough to cope with the nasty parties proposed cuts....they must be stopped at any cost......
Well Milliband has publicly ruled out coalitions with SNP and Plaid so he has basically opened the door for Cameron to walk straight back in.
Shame the leader of the party that is supposed to represent the working class isn't thinking this way. The clown has stuffed himself by blocking any coalition with the SNP and Plaid.
