You watch - if we score towards the end in order to clinch the title he'll probably give someone a second yellow for excessive celebrations. Then he'll send a report to the league criticising them for staying on the pitch too long after the final whistle <doh>

    Well deserved too...

Although now I am worried that the curse will carry over to next season and, linking it with the obvious gulf in class awaiting us up there, it will mean a season of struggle.

Can anyone allay my fears? :(

Relax BB. Eddie Howe will get manager of the season and whoever gets their team through the play offs will be nominated time magazine man of the year because of the suit he chose to wear at the Wembley showpiece. After securing premier league survival and winning the FA Cup Tim Sherwood will get manager of the season.

Alan Pardew is going to make an appearnce on the celebrity version of pointless and win it with an answer involving a book written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Tony Pullis will win the lottery bonus ball in his local pub and Jose Mourinho is going to be victorious in the Kensington and Chelsea summer darts tournament.

Does that make you feel any better?

Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic has confirmed he would be "very happy" to sign a contract extension at the club.

Jokanovic can lead the Hornets to the Sky Bet Championship title if they beat Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, with promotion to the Premier League already secured.

It has been reported that the Serb, who took over the reins at Vicarage Road in October, will be offered a one-year rolling contract on a salary of £1m a year and Jokanovic would be delighted to put pen to paper on such a proposal. Sky Sports

Eleven: Southampton, Swansea, Stoke, West Ham, Crystal Palace, WBA, Newcastle, Hull, Leicester , Bournemouth, ANO (Norwich ?) This assumes bottom 3 now are those relegated - otherwise simply swap the names.
All have been in the Championship within the last half dozen years or less. They have adapted and survived or prospered. We now have savvy owners who can do at least as well. I would say there are only about half a dozen Premiership teams (the top 6 now) who are really a class above us. They are fallible too.
If clubs like Wigan and Fulham can get up there and have a run of a few decent years then so can we.

It feels great to be able to think so positively doesn't it?

One of the things that fascinates me is that every time a club goes up they talk about wanting to follow this model or that model as it's a blue print for success. We're going to take our place in the Premier League with a totally unique one - cannot wait to see where it takes us.

    2nd Place = Gomes 3rd Place = Ighalo
