If you go on this link you can listen to his rant at pearson about half way down. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32537484 Im sorry but does anyone else think that this was one of the most disgraceful moments from a reporter ever? Clearly trying to get under the skin and not stopping until he does and bringing up old incidences like the supported incident and telling NP how he should have reacted. Well done NP for staying calm, and maybe im getting carried away, but does anyone else think that he was utterly disgraceful there?
I've said several times now I think some of the comments were bordering on slander. Many neutrals think Murphy was out of order, and even one or two Hull fans! I don't think I've even heard a manager spoken to with such disrespect.
As in to the stage where i wouldnt to suprised to see all clubs ban him for a week from their conferences. Maybe i have interpretted it a bit heavily but that is the most disrespectful and wind-up-merchant personal rant to a manager i have ever heard. Utter disgraceful and went too personal and too far for too long. Diabolical conduction.
Incredible interview (not in a good way) and Pearson must have been boiling inside wanting to go and knock the bald twat off his chair. Granted Pearsons behavior at times this season has been unacceptable, but the way Murphy went at Pearson was unbelievable. If we go down the media will blame it on Pearson you wait and see.
"Have you ever considered taking anger management courses" Has Pearson kicked Murphy's puppy? What kind of reporting is this
NP does open his self up some times, but some of the stupid Q´s these 'so called reporters' ask are unreal & some don´t even have any thing to do with football or the game that has just been played. If NP had of grabbed him around the throat would you of blamed him ? He´s best just to say "no comment has anyone got a real Q" If so answer that & if not just get up & walk out. He should be getting involved in silly name calling though.
Came here to say I LOVE mr pearson after the past two conferences he's given. I'm glad these journos are getting a little push back from someone this year! This one in particular highlisghts their arrogance and just...snide behaviour-and it must really get to some men. I'm made up with the way he dealt with Murphy: "are you afraid you come off as a bully, or paranoid?" No. paranoid am I? OK..." Priceless!!
Actually I think the way he performed in that interview is a master stroke by nigel . Taking all the spotlight from what will be yet another incredibly tense tight game tomorrow. he would appear to be garnering a siege mentality at the club and has undoubtedly passed that onto the players over the last month. Can the press not see that it is a classic mourinho / ferguson tactic. the man is a genius !!
Im pretty sure none of this was formulated. Though it may give the players extra motivation to show their support for Pearson, it certainly wouldn't have been intended ... ... then again ... he was talking with Mourhinio during the match ... conspiracy theorists unite!
