Back to the OP.... GREAT to see Pearson brought down to size by BBC Sports' Pat Murphy (see the BBC website this morning). Murphy gave him a real grilling and Pearson was made to look even more of a fool than he did when picking on the junior reporter earlier. He had no argument in him whatsoever, just the sort of childish ripostes you'd hear on the school playground. A well-deserved, verbal thrashing for a rather thick bully. Doesn't do Leicester's image any good, or Pearson's for that matter, at a time when Pearson would otherwise deservedly be a candidate for manager of the month.
Just watched that. The journo is provocative (but not that much really) but Pearson? What a plank. From interviews previously, I'd always thought he was a calm, measured man. He's a walking volcano ready to erupt at any moment. Could keep Steve Black busy for a decade!
