Why did McMenemy insist upon playing an unfit Steve Williams against Everton in the cup semi final when he had a fully fit Alan Curtis available?

Young schoolchild on this train: 'Change here for Bognor Regis. Like you'd admit to that. I've never been to Bognor, don't want to either. Gotta keep up appearances!'

I live not to far from bognor and its now known as little Poland, as a nipper spent most my days either in Shieks or Empire. FLT when were you playing for Bognor and was Jack Pearce involved in them days.

Jack Pearce is Bognor Regis Town FC. I was there 88/89 to 90/91 and Jack was manager - Legend!

No, you must be wrong LTL. That simply is not possible. I remember watching that grand prix live and the camera was filming from Shuey's car (I think) at the time and I remember saying to my mate "What's happened to Senna?" as I had seen his car go one way and the car camera the other way., right at the moment it happened. It was surreal.

OK so I'm bored which means I'm daydreaming about winning the lottery. If you won a ludicrous amount ...say £200m+ what extravagant, nonsensical purchase would you indulge in?

I dont want a total run rundown of charitable donations or good deeds, just the pointless ****e you want for some weird reason.

Mine: Wax replicas of Le Tissier and Eddy from Iron maiden riding a robotic lifesize Xeno queen...I'm not sure how i will use it..But i WILL use it at some point...and it will be glorious.

Anyone else have any random (sfw) expenses?

It really was the most surreal day wasn't it? For those who weren't around, it was honestly like the equivalent of Messi collapsing and dying (God forbid) during a football match. You were just "hang on, this cannot be happening".

exactly. The first time of seeing it 'live' the commentary seemed to carry on and I was questioning where Senna had gone.. it was very strange for a few seconds as if it hadn't happened.

I'd buy a small football club. If it was the 200m you suggest, I'd try and buy Northampton my local club. Yes, I would be that Chairman who names himself on the bench and comes on for the last 5 minutes of the last game of the season :)

That's what I'd do with my share of the 200m. You'll have to ask the wife what she would do with her 180m share of it :(

I want a Tang horse statue (about 18'' high) for my mantelpiece. I am not interested in things anymore now I am older, but I would make an exception for one of those.
