It really is amazing how people will delude themselves out of loyalty to their chosen club. Of course, I'm aware that City fans do this too on occasion, but in this case the defending of the indefensible by Leicester fans is ****ing funny.
I was listening to the James Richardson podcast today (Guardian football weekly) and Barry Glendenning came straight out and said Pearson was a bully, I don't think its the media against Pearson, Pearson has issues. This was what I was on about last night on here with you. Great podcast actually http://www.theguardian.com/football/series/footballweekly
Or delude themselves to side AGAINST a manager they judged to have deserted them. But of course, you guys aren't bothered about him anymore. Hence there's more discussion about Pearson on here than the Leicester board. To add balance, I had a look at the bbc facebook thread on this. Most neutrals think Murphy was a cock.
"Owned" by a spluttering old berk who even went as far as to say "the media generates a lot of money for football so I think you should have a bit of respect". Even you know you're talking utter pattynchips2.
gtf. He did OK for us, but we prospered after he moved on, so we've no reason to resent his departure.
Calling people silly and stupid is nowhere near as bad as implying someone has mental health issues. Can't believe you'd even suggest otherwise.
I didn't like Pearson's boring interviews but he was right to not suck up to that pat murphy tosser. He was basically implying journos can do what they want and managers should take it. They do my head in. Journos spend most of their time either trying to provoke or asking the most inane ****ing questions such as 'you must feel getting beaten was bad?' etc. Nige was right to stare down the soppy ****.
I'm pretty sure I haven't pointed that out before. If you meant the plural "you", then you can stop that right now. What some of the ridiculous halfwits on here write is nothing to do with me.
And while I'm at it, why did keep saying 'and you could even win manager of the month' - wtf was he even on about? Tosser.
It was just a pathetic attempt to appear neutral. Nige could well win MOTM, but Murphy wouldn't give two hoots if he did or not.
The BBC have dug out the interview between Clough and Motson now as a comparison. The thought crossed my mind too. It's great someone is standing up to the media in an era in which football is virtually controlled by it (mainly Sky), it's very refreshing.
