Think he'll be a 'week away' for the rest of this season

So it can't only be me that's thinking this is looking less and less likely to be a physical issue....

I've heard that he's a week away from being a week away.

    New song perhaps?

A week away, a week away, a week away, a week away.

He doesn't want to play, that's obvious.
I hope we sell him in the summer.

My thoughts precisely..... wasnt there something about him complaining at West Ham and wanting to leave for a top 6 side?

What a waste of money. Good player, but can see why West ham wanted rid.

I've no idea where you and others have got this idea.

It is no different to the Jelavic situation, yet would you suggest he doesn't want to play for us and that we should sell him?

He complained about being played out wide at West Ham and their lack of recruitment. He did say he had aspirations to play for a top 6 club one day, but then, which player doesn't?

Can't help but wonder did he come with the injury, as for slating him, that not the case exactly the opposite I think he's can only improve what we put out on the field ,but my one niggling negative thought is, why are we told week in week out he's another week away from the squad and then it goes back another week, why not just come out and say he's out for the season if he does make it back before then, its a bonus, but as one poster has stated why did west ham let him go," injury prone".

    He has a bad knee.

It heals, then flares up again when he tries to play.

Nothing more too it. If he wanted a big money move he would be out there showing he is worth it.

Brady had the same thing going on after his hernia trouble! Bruce said half of the problem was in his head! Only the player knows if he's ready or not! Brady's come through ok though. A knee is a very complicated thing and everything has to be right just to walk never mind 90 mins prem football.

The last game he was on the bench for, I remember burnsy and swanny saying he either runs funny or he isn't right when seeing him warm up.

I didn't like that either, if someone has some physical problem it should be taken seriously. Instead we've rushed people back in the past when they aren't ready.

exactly, he's suffering from tendonitis, and you don't change a winning team so why risk him?
