Good Morning Everyone, There is talk that Martyn Woolford may be heading north to Elland Road in the Summer. The Millwall winger 29, is available for a free transfer as he is out of contract in the Summer. Are we setting our heights too low? Surely there must be better options out there? Scunthorpe United are giving trials to Leeds United youngsters Issac Asensso, Liam Bennett, and Piteu Crouz. The academy trio all played for the League One sides development side in their final game of the season against Rotherham United today with Crouz on target in their 3-0 win. Between now and Saturday, we will know whether Redfearn will be in charge next season. Today may be the day.
Elland it looks like you've started the summer merrygoround already mate. never heard of Woolfield and hope he stays down sarf. We have a transfer embargo so whatever dealings we have need to be one in one out and I guess we know who will be leaving, but the question is who will be in charge. If Cellino is still here you can bet your life that Redders goes at the weekend and Salerno comes back to bring in foreign loan players again. Thompsongate is finished as is Steve and redders may not like it but he'll be on his bike too which could drop him off at TA or the job centre. £800k wages wrangle could impact the clubs transfer/loan policy as it could be more cash leaving the club instead of steadying the ship. We need to know what the fook Cellino is planning because fans losing patience and if he gets another tax conviction he will be banned again
Morning Elland, morning those joining. Really hope Redders is given at least 10 games at the start of next season. Cellino wasted 2 to 3 months of our season with Hockmadoodlegandi & Milanic, as well as a load of cheap Italian import, many of whom weren't up to the task. The only reason we were never really in a relegation fight was down to the kids, & Redders faith in them. What he needs is to be able to bring in a bit more experience to support the kids and not have them playing every week as they're not necessarily strong enough
Morning Boggers, I'm not so sure about giving Redders more time. I know i've said it before, I'd rather have Grayson
Grayson is a fair shout. Let Redders return to the Academy & get Grayson to bring Beckford back. Result all round
2 points: 1) If Redders keeps his job he will need a No2 so who do we think could do it. 2) Not sure if you've seen the latest David Conn pieces on the financial fair play rules. All the prem owners making cash and some will sell their clubs in the next few weeks for a lot of cash. WBA £150m cash if you want the club take it or leave it. Man City beat the rules by moving 150 staff onto the Group books to fiddle the numbers. They did however spend £1.5billion on the club, that's the budget for many countries
Morning all. I fully expect weill not appoint a manager until end of June at earliest. That way, same as closing Thorp Arch last summer, Cellino will save some cash. Maybe bring Darko back for the couple of months as were paying him anyway
Bucks why Rossler, he started off well at Wigan but lost the plot and got binned. If he couldn't do it at the village pub team what makes you think he could handle the pressures and expectations of Leeds. Agree he would be a better shout than the fella hockadoodle though.
Why would Grayson come back Boggers. Hes likely going to be in same division as us next season anyway without the grief and bullshit hed get with our job ?
Probably have more money this time, no Bates shafting him behind his back, no Bates selling his best players from under him and not giving his out of contract players a new deal, even though these players are still playing in the prem and high in the champs - they went for free ffs. Bates also sold kids like Garbutt out of the academy. So as an ex player and ex manager I think he has unfinished business
Fooking Daily Mail talking about Martin Allen who's out of contract after steering Barnet out of the conference to League2 last week. fook me rigid
Grayson's a manager not a coach and chooses who he'd like to sign so he wouldn't be an option, and even if he was do we really want to wait another few years for him to finally sort the defence out which he never managed to do previously?
