Bowyer should be a very good signing for us, good to see a sensible deal for him too. We need a younger creative midfielder to play alongside him though I think, Bullard was quality but who knows what is going on with that situation! Heard a few rumours about Bolton's Danny Ward, was on loan with Huddersfield last season, most likely to go back there I think, had a good left foot on him, probably just talk though. All the transfers we have made have been covered pretty heavily so any other signing tomorrow would be a nice surprise, one kept well out of the media by ITFC if so, hopefully meaning a big signing... I think a really quality centre back, quality attacking centre mid, and another striker - I only see us signing another striker if they are of the quality of Maynard or Sharp, not sure we would need another back-up type forward.
Not a Captain for our club I don't think. Albeit a very experienced and passionate player. I can see Ivar getting the armband with maybe Bowyer 2nd or 3rd in line depending on who else is brought in. As for tomorrows signing. The fact that there has been very little hype doesn't fill me with much enthusiasm, I can't see it being anyone other than Dyer or a freebee. Would be interesting if it were Dyer though.
Ecstatic to have signed Bowyer, think this is a cracking move! As for him being captain, maybe vice, but not against him leading the lads out.
