Rather enjoyed reading this thread. First half Chelsea took the game for granted and thought they'd won it before we'd kicked off. We probably deserved to be ahead at the break but Chelsea just clicked into gear and our depleted squad couldn't cope. 3-1 doesn't tell the story. Ah well, it was a free hit. Just a shame we had ours against a side that could be bothered. Shame, but we're still in a great position.
The journalist asked a reasonable enough question and if Pearson didn't want to answer it, he should've said "I'm not commenting on that". But no. He had to go billy big bollocks and deride the bloke for asking a decent question, calling him an ostrich and saying his questions are crap. Is he just accidentally a **** or does he practice three hours a night?
Leicester's defeat means we're currently on the best winning run in the league, joint with Man City and Everton.
You called the Leicester fans "a bunch of idiots" and implied I'm one too. I wasn't laughing at bullying, as it didn't occur. I'm laughing at the idea that journalists that sell millions of newspapers and influence the thinking of as many people, often to think unfavourably of people and organisations they themselves don't approve of, can be bullied by one man.
Are you serious? Take off your orange and black specs and listen to the question. Nige said that the side has had to take a lot of criticism this season and the journalist said "What criticism". All he's said is that the blokes clearly got his head in the sand. We've had a hellish time from the media regarding things like the standard of the squad and our mentaltiy. Everyone in the country knows it. Nigel has no time for muppets who seem to have a "who can ask the question that winds him up the most" competition. It's boring.
If you watch that video objectively towards the end without your Leicester tinted spectacles on you can see Pearson bullying the interviewer, all that other stuff is just irrelevant
"Are you an ostrich" Oooh how awful, won't someone please think of the children!! Grow up you ****ing tart.
You're just proving the point I made about the Leicester fans being a bunch of idiots, at least the other fella has a reasonable response
He's an embarrassment to football. He does the public perception of the game no favours when he gets all up himself with arrogance, not doing his extremely well paid job properly and acting with zero professionalism in an official capacity. He's the representative of a premier league club ffs, the childish twat should grow up a bit and act more like a grown man rather than some rich spoilt brat with an attitude problem.
So then just answer the guy. You're going to get a lot of repetitive questions in the media; how many times do you think Steve Bruce gets asked about the name change fiasco? You don't see him storming out or insulting the press. It's ridiculous behaviour from a football manager. Yeah you've had some criticism but honestly if he gets that wound up about that then he's in the wrong line of work.
Why should he cave in? Ask a stupid question and expect a stupid answer was what I was taught. Embarrassing that you accept Bruce's "yes man" approach to interviews. Even worse that you think he's telling the truth.
Have you been on holiday for six months? Have you? Have you been away for six months? Well I think you must have been either head in the clouds, away on holiday or boring another team. if you don't understand my point then your point is absolutely unbelievable the fact that you don't know where I'm coming from, if you don't understand my point then you are an ostrich. Your head must be in the sand. Is your head in the sand? Can you, are you flexible enough to get your head in the sand? My suspicion would be no. I can, you can't. You can't. Listen, you've been here often enough, for you to make that point I think you're being either very very silly or you're being absolutely stupid. One of the two because for you to make that point, I'm sorry son but you are daft, you're wrong. You've been over here, you've been here & I know you have so don't give that crap with me, please, don't give that crap with me. I'll smile at you because I can afford to smile at you. Now do you want to make a different point or do you want to make it differently? Go on make it, make it, or are you not capable? "You don't know of what urm"... well you must be very stupid, I'm sorry. No cya.
Nothing to do with Leicester bias mate, I've already told you I'd think the same way if it was at your club. At the end, Pearson gave him the chance to ask the question different, but he continued to provoke him by saying "I don't see why you've taken offence with the question I've asked". The journalist wasn't intimidated or bullied. He was being an arse rather than moving on. It's happening all the time now. In fairness, and using less emotive language, I agree with what Sterling said above as I've already said, but I'm not Pearson and I handle stress and provocation differently. Pearson has no time for fools or gossipy old women.
You can hear "those bits"? Why was somebody reading it to you? There was no sound, just a response to your crap, silly & stupid point. Thick ****.
****ing hell, grow a pair. Can tell Leicester haven't been in the Premier League for a while and are struggling with the attention on the big league. You haven't had a hellish time or any unfairness from the press. You've been bottom most of the season, what do you expect, plaudits lauding your excellent displays and winning mentality. Everyone in the country doesn't think you've had a hellish time, they just think Nige is an embarrassing tosser. If Pearson didn't want the press to bait him, why make it so easy? They know he'll come out with some ****ish moronic rant, so they'll push his buttons.
