Finest cities on Earth (in no particular order) : Ghent Jerusalem Paris Buenos Aires London Berlin Rome Damascus York Bruges New York Oslo Moscow Rouen Florence Seattle Vienna Munich St Petersburg Edinburgh I'm well travelled, me.
I really liked it but I'm not sure that's any real recommendation! Definitely the nicest of the capital cities in Scandinavia in my opinion though. Helsinki would be good if you enjoyed being surrounded by neo nazi piss heads
Don't get me wrong, Dan, Copenhagen is a fine city, but it probably wouldn't make my the top 50. I base my score on historical significance, architecture, richness of culture, warmth of hospitality and food. And don't knock Damascus until you've tried it. As for Rio - it's overrated. Nice beaches but not much else.
No Barcelona,Madrid Edinburgh has a little castle on a hill and full of junkies, not worth going back to.
Granada, Barcelona and Santiago DC are the finest cities of Spain; Madrid left me feeling a little underwhelmed, though. Of course Edinburgh can be done within the week, yet I find it to be wholly enchanting. Much like York and Winchester.
