Did you realise, every game we've won this season he's started??
My hands are up here. Before I heard this stat I was wanting him dropped for Seb on Sat and for Rodwell to remain in the team (we've never won a single game he's started yet).

Wow - had no idea - To be honest, as much as I think he's not great as he's too slow - he still puts in a good free kick or corner (most of the time - only as good as your last kick out of play for a goal kick in the last game?)

Seb has to start at the expense of him or Rodwell - Rodwell I have been disappointingly underwhelmed with this season. I honestly thought he'd be a fantastic signing - how an opinion can change. Larsson has been a big miss in both of the last 2 games.

Catts and Seb start for definite - whichever other one we decide to start is up to the gaffer. Rodwell should be moved back into Central Defence IMO (and in others opinions too!)

Hoping for a decent atmosphere this Saturday - Need a result desperately

That's the sad scenario of our situation. Because of the hate he's been getting it's been made public. Not by me by the way, I'm just the messenger of this info.

He's also been part of the team the team that's suffered many thrashings. Both mean nowt. Would Defoe have missed that volley had Gomez not been on the pitch? Of course not. Gomez didn't contribute to the move.

    It's coincidence imo. Nothing else.

He got lots good attributes but milk could turn the amount of time it takes him to make a decision. So often the easy pass once defenses have organised and the opportunity to create a chance gone. He's a decent passer, he needs to man up and take the chance with the forward pass, not bottle it again and again.

Gomez is a good passer and would be useful if he had quick players around him. Unfortunately I think there's only van aanholt in the first team squad that could do a sub 15s 100m

I've rolled this stat out a million times! The latest undeserving scapegoat IMO

Didn't contribute to the move but was outstanding that day. No coincidence at all.

It is in my opinion. It's a **** stat too. He's been ****e majority of the season like most of them. Witnessed it with my own eyes and formed my opinion it. He's no scapegoat with me, he's had a more good game than most. But usually ****e. imo.

Would be interested to know what you think he does better than anyone else. Then we can rustle up real stats based on actual contribution

What are his pass completion stats like? One of our best I imagine. He makes plenty of sideways passes to keep the ball but also plays his fair share of forward ones. IMO if he had better options up front he wouldn't have to hang onto the ball waiting for the ****ers to move! When they inevitably don't, he decides to pass it rather than give it back to the other team. I don't think he's a world beater by any stretch but I believe we are a better team with him than without him.

These stats mean nothing whatsoever. Too many other factors to take into account. Little more than random chance.

The fact that he's appallingly slow suggests there's more luck to this stat than anything else.

He does frustrate you watching at times but I agree to some extent with both sides here, the corner kicks were appalling at Stoke but his passing was good if a little slow. The team need to mix it up a bit and take a leaf out of Stoke's game and launch crosses in asp to catch out the opposition once in a while. I thought Whicks did his bit in this respect, and his game has certainly improved this season, I still think he can fire us to safety along with Defoe, there is still hope.

    Another David Vaughan IMO
If he is given time and space he is more than capable of doing something very useful with the ball.
Not suited to the cut and thrust of central midfield though

He's too slow. Also not in favour of his ability to drop like a stone to win free kicks. Don't hate him though, I don't know the bloke. Might be a nice lad to has to work with a bunch of ****s.

Bold bit completely contradicts the remainder of that sentence "I don;t know the bloke" followed by "Has to work with a bunch of ****s" Do you know the ones you're calling "****s"?
